PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Perfect fry up for me is three ’thins’ Lashford’s sausages (fried), two rashers of plain back bacon (grilled, well done) two fried Burford Browns, One slice of Bury black pudding, fried. Tomato, mushroom, grilled; and Heinz beans fried in the residual fat, which should originate from lard. One hash brown, assuming it’s crispy enough, although that’s the least important constituent part.

Brown sourdough with Jersey butter.

Heinz ketchup and HP sauce.
The dirty…….dirty bastards!

Beans should be nowhere near a fry up (or any meal for that matter). A splash of ketchup et all is fine but the thought of watery tomato juice contaminating all the decent stuff is horrid.

The rest sounds nice enough. Big fan of haggis in a fry up too. =)

It’s definitely not watery if it’s been fried in lard, mate.

The classic 'Manchester Breakfast' at the Cafe Metro High Street (deceased), cost £5 and included a pot of tea. Never re-opened after El Covid....

You know what I love most about that (apart from the black pudding of course)? That the beans aren’t served in a fucking poncy little pot.

Edit. Oh, I am sorry, ramekin.

That looks really nice. Swap the sausage for more bacon and the black pudding for toast and the beans for plum tomatoes and that would taste nice too.

I love how random this thread is.

It veers off to (but not limited to)
- corned beef
- the great muffin or barm debate
- we had the international playboy for a while
- occasionally the 115 charges

And now… fried bread and a fry-ups generally.

I often think if a journalist came on the this thread or a rival fan what their reaction would be.

That’s pretty much the Saturday morning breakfast my Dad used to knock out for us all - minus the hash browns and sourdough.Fried beans which he’d drizzle some of the hot lard over when it was on your plate. Put hairs on your chest even at 11. Washed down with a full strength tea that looked like squid ink. Red sauce atop the black pudding and brown on the back bacon and sausage. Just missing the fried egg.

I'm sure even said journalist/shill or tribal Red Cartel supporter would find the thread 'un peu amusant' as we used to say in Hulme.. they might* even give us some credit and agree that we deserve a discount off the 115 charges because of our good humour as fans, in the spirit of 'bantz among the wider football family' and so on....

(* I say 'might' but it's totally unlikely..)
