Bone Tomahawk has one of the most revolting scenes I have ever seen.

I’m not squeamish but I averted my eyes.

Doing sod all today/tonight so going to have a Hallowe’en marathon.

I’ve just put Saint Maud on to kick it off.

Despite not being a religious person, I do like the horror films with a relgious, demonic, possession, ghostly, haunting theme.

I’ve not long finished watching Monster: The Ed Gein Story and noticed a lot of horror films are based on his story and a lot of serial killers think of Gein as their inspiration or even hero (which it does cover in the series, on both accounts).

Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Silence Of The Lambs… among others are all based on Ed Gein or themes that came from Ed Gein.

Also, serial killers Ed Kemper and Jeffrey Dahmer… amongst others were inspired by Gein.
