It’s part of his career, playing for Belgium.Cool. Knock 2 years of his career then.
Makes sense - not.
It’s a very weird thing grown men deciding what other grown men want or should do with their profession.

I think it'll be the same as kev. Both injury prone but both do a decent job when called on.It'll be interesting to see how we deal with the likes of Ake and Stones as they approach ch the ends of their contracts.
Ake is 30, Stones is 31. Yes, they're younger than Kev was when we released him, but their respective injury records over the past 18-24 months is poor. And they're no use to us sat in the stand. And any injuries will take longer to recover from than they would have done 3 or 4 years ago.I think it'll be the same as kev. Both injury prone but both do a decent job when called on.
How old are Ake and Stonesy?
Greed is a wonderful thing sadlyThis sad injury should also be used to highlight what Kev and other players are saying.
The various football authorities, all desperate and greedy are making the players play far too much football.
Cole Palmer is out injured because he hasn't had a summer break, Kev played less games but is older.
Football associations, FIFA, Uefa, all of them, will not stop because they are greedy fuckers.
On another note, Chelsea as a team seem to be suffering from wining the Club World Cup. Too many games will kill football
No leave that to VAR.This sad injury should also be used to highlight what Kev and other players are saying.

If you can't see that playing nonsense friendlys at the tail end of career has adversely effected players careers then that's on you. I'll just move on.It’s part of his career, playing for Belgium.

I agree, nonsense friendlies at any time of your career in fact.If you can't see that playing nonsense friendlys at the tail end of career has adversely effected players careers then that's on you. I'll just move on.
No bother.
I love KDB and was upset with City not giving him a rolling contract although I understand the reasons why. I saw a video of him taking the penalty and yes, how on earth do you pull a hamstring taking a penalty unless it’s how you strike through the ball. They way some of the young players kick a ball these days, with their feet crossing over each other, I’m not surprised more injuries don’t happen. Is that a record.....doing your hamstring taking a penalty? At least he slotted it home.
Google AI says 3-6 months recovery. Not sure if athletes have the same recovery time as normal folk.A "high grade" tear. What's that likely to mean for him, in terms of time out of the Napoli side, particularly given his age? Months, rather than weeks?
Sadly he will be out for much of the season.A "high grade" tear. What's that likely to mean for him, in terms of time out of the Napoli side, particularly given his age? Months, rather than weeks?
He'll have top notch medical care, for sure. But he's 34 (?) now. At that age, he'll take longer to recover than if he was 26 or 27. Also, that's likely to be a weak point going forward. Also, it's bound to be in the back of his mind when he does return.Google AI says 3-6 months recovery. Not sure if athletes have the same recovery time as normal folk.
