Sports wise - Duncan Hamilton's book "Provided you don't kiss me" on 20 years with Brian Clough covering Forest as the local Nottingham Evening Post correspondent remains the finest sports book I've ever read.
Honourable mention to John Feinsteins "Next Man Up" on a season with the Baltimore Ravens, and "The Miracle of Castro Di Sangro" by Joe McGinniss is also a gem
Fiction wise Bob Mortimer's books are brilliant - The Satsuma Complex, and The Hotel Avocado are good. Just finished them both. Bob's Autobiography is also superb and a book I'd highly recommend.
Music wise - Paulo Hewitt's "Getting High - Adventures with Oasis" is another I'd recommend, written when the band were at the height of their powers in the mid-90s.
