I genuinely thought them Slot comments was a joke when someone mentioned them last night. Fuck me. As others have said, it is how you spend and spread that money. He doesn't look to have spent his well so far. Why does nobody pull managers up on this lie about teams having BIGGER squads. Every team can only have 25 players. The squad size is the same for all. You can then talk about better depth but you cannot say any side has a bigger squad, nonsense.

What I would love to see by someone, somewhere, is a discussion around what an achievement our 4 in a row was, when Liverpool, who was comfortable champions, then spent an absolute fortune are now struggling and looking unlikely at retaining it. We won it 4 bastard times, with them pressures of champions, with injuries, all whilst winning other pots along the way too. It also debunks the myth of our achievements are bought, which are lazy to begin with, but Liverpool can be added to the list of United and Chelsea of spending hundreds of millions and seeing nothing for it. I just wish it wasn't Arsenal ready to take advantage, can't have it all though.

We came along and did the one thing you are not permitted to do - upset the red cartel. We put that hate-filled Glaswegian despot's nose out of place and that, according to the British media, is unforgivable. They will not let us forget that. We are now the undisputed powerhouse in modern football and the rag-loving media don't like it, but even more importantly pgmol and Webb don't like it, either.

You had me until your conspiracy nonsense around referees. Enjoy your day.

What in God's s name is this lol????

I like it, it's catchy, but they should all keep going towards the right more - way more!

Slot is an absolute prick when, at a time of crisis, he puts his youngsters in the firing line on a hiding to nothing. Like that could be a massive knock to the confidence of some of those lads. He should have seen it as an opportunity to put a good performance in by blending some 1st teamers in - the irony of course was that the most experienced player in their defence (Gomez) had an absolute shocker.

And then after the game to basically say the lads playing are effectively shite but he had no option but to play them because City, because Chelsea. What an absolute wanker. He has no motivational skills at all and is suddenly completely out of his depth.

Reporter "Why did you lose at home to Crystal Palace?"

Slot "Because Manchester City have a strong squad."

What a thundercunt.
He's done just what Klopp did - started off as a fairly likeable bloke until things go wrong. Now he's finally gone full dipper. Happens to them all once the cult gets it's claws in.

I posted in this thread last night after the run of poor results and especially after the Brentford loss, the last thing you should be doing is changing your entire 11,he should have went with his strongest team to get a result and start rebuilding confidence, the whole thing smacks of arrogance..

Arrogance? Liverpool?, nah I'm not having it

First team players not injured he choose to rest not even on the bench : Mamardashvili,Bradley,Konate,Van Dijk,Szoboslai,Jones,Salah,Wirtz,Gakpo,Ekitike. He wanted to loose no big team behaves like this.
