1883 rewatches and it’s still a brilliant watch

Celebrity Traitors what a brilliant ending, I won’t spoil it but the last bit was great TV.

Watched the first 30 mins thought it was crap

Thought it might be another Mr Bates vs the post office. Gave up after 2 episodes. Utter wank.

Another Mr Bates v PO was my initial thought and the scandal was a story worth telling, hence my disappointment.

And to me it emphasised why it's much better and more watchable than the 'normal' version; the fact that they are playing for charities makes it a completely different type of show. The standard version is imo pretty unpleasant viewing, whilst this has been highly entertaining,

I also thoroughly enjoyed it but didn't think the final episode had quite the tension and sense of anticipation that the civilian version has. I think they were basically all happy to just reach the final and weren't really that arsed who actually won. There's no way that the End Game would have played out the way it did if they were desperate to win like the public are.

Great entertainment nonetheless though.

Never watched it before and barring a few moments that made me want to switch it off in frustration, i really enjoyed it. I do think cause it was for charity and the money wasn't for personal gain, it made it really laid back and good to watch. Not sure i'd be able to stomach it with non celebs and that snideyness i imagine it would be.

I was so pissed off when they voted Joe off. He had it spot on and can't believe those two turned on him last minute. Made for great drama though.

That bit in your spoiler was a WTF moment in our house, it actually made the whole series for me, I agree it’s much more enjoyable than the normal one as that shows the horrible side of people wanting cash and they’ll do anything for it, this was more lighthearted.

If you enjoy Gritty British drama’s try Mudtown on alibi.
Set in Newport, it’s a crime drama but the emphasis is not on the Police.
Talking of Police Imho I thought Blue Lights S3 took an age to get going and they’ve effectively relegated Martin McCann to the subs bench.

It's the first time I can remember a TV programme that it seemed like 'Everyone' was watching since the early days of 'Who wants to be a Millionaire?'

I must have overheard at least a dozen conversations about it over the last few weeks, while at bus stops, train stations, pubs etc.

Numbers reported say between 11-13 million watched it live last night which is a huge number these days and will go up I guess with catch-up. Seemingly the most a final of the 'normal' version has had was 7 million.

As much as I enjoyed the programme I'm baffled as to what TV Execs take from the show. If you believe the media Claudia and Alan are now the hottest properties in TV. From my perspective it was the concept rather than these 2 individuals who made the programme. As for AC being the host for Strictly the wife thinks they have lost the plot.

My punishment for sticking with Brassic even though it was going downhill fast was not only a bad final season but the most pathetic last episode and ending ever put onto the small screen.

I hope the writers get scammed by a Nigerian prince, lazy bastards.

Watched about 3 episodes in the 1st series and never went back.
