Villa v Maccabi Tel Aviv - away fans banned | MTA confirm they will refuse any allocation for safety reasons (p26)

If Israel were committing genocide, would it have lasted two years? We could have wiped them out in a minute. Would we be sending them thousands of trucks of food and supplies every day? Provide them water and electricity?
Do you honestly believe this to be true?

Five instances of major disturbances, still waiting. And if you are using the likes of Middle Eastern Eye and 5 Pillars you might as well quote from Al Jazeera as well. It's like quoting from United we Stand that says City are cheats. You must do better. Who do you think has a worse reputation Maccabi Tel Aviv, Spurs, Millwall, Leeds, Cardiff, us, Rags, either of the scouse teams?
Now it is the sources that are wrong.
I think there are many clubs with bad reputations. I don't know of one that sings about the killing of babies.

Except that Anti-Zionism that denies the Jewish people's right to self-determination or a homeland in Israel is antisemitic.
Then why would so many Jews be joining the marches for Palestine and against Zionism?

Anyway, we digress from the football an into politics.
It is a very complex issue, I grant, but the risk of incident led to this decision, as it did in Turkey.
I would condemn violence from all sides at football, but if there was a chance of a major incident, I can understand the decision taken.

If only I can think of football teams who have sung songs about people dying or who have contracted AIDS or who are going to get their heads kicked in, or if they sing they will die. And I am still waiting to see five serious incidents of disorder (at five different games) that merits such a reputation. You won't find them because the reputation doesn't exist. But let's talk about Galatasary shall we? Should City ban them given their reputation over decades of violence?

So many Jews? Really, you mean a handful of Jews such as the Neturei Karta whose numbers represent about 0.03% of Jews worldwide or JVP who represent around 3%. Over 80% of Jews are Zionists and that's probably a figure on the low side so of course you may have a few on these hate marches especially NK with their beliefs. Do you believe that the Jewish people have a right to self-determination or a homeland in Israel?

Nowhere near as bad as it could have been, so credit to WMP for once. As far as I saw, they actually enforced s60 and removed face coverings of groups balaclava'd up. Few hundred pro Palestinian's outside the trinity rd stand, which was a combination of locals and usual protestors. Biggest potential kick off was between them and match going villa fans which caused a stand off pre kick off which could have overspilled. Some Villa fans singing Tommy Robinson songs, not for me at all but shows how polarised this world is becoming.

Pro Israeli protest must have been about 30 strong, barely noticed them to be honest and majority were just opportunistic journalists imo. A game I think everyone in the club just wants to move on from, depressing.
I don’t understand why the protesters were allowed to be outside the ground.. There should have been an exclusion zone around the ground. No ticket, you don’t get through.

Absolutely. Seems the local cleric got there preaching his usual bloodthirsty message, and one enormous Palestinian flag. Should have been a ring of steel similar to what heads of state have for their pointless meetings.

If it was considered that Galatasaray, or another club, represented a risk to public disorder then I would have no issue in a game behind closed doors.
It isn't true to say that the reputation does not exist. I provided multiple sources that you have dismissed. Each contains examples of why they have their reputation.

At this particular time, it is obvious why the presence of Maccabi fans could incite incident.

I don't believe that any nation should be a homeland for one religion at the exclusion of another, no.
I don't believe that 'God's word' determined a superior race with rights above all others.

But let me be clear, even if I believed in all of those things, I would NOT ACCEPT the shooting, killing, cuckooing, land seizure, and the deprival of aid and medicine, for I am a human being who values the lives of other human beings. I apply that to Jewish people as equally as I do any other religion, but not one at the expense of another. I condemn all violence against human beings. I do not accept terror committed by individuals or by armies. I will not defend HAMAS, nor the IDF when it comes to killing innocent people.

So, do I accept that a club whose fans sing songs about killing people should be banned...damn right.
And do I march in support of the people of Palestine alongside atheists, agnostics, Muslims, Christians, and Jews...absolutely.

You really haven't provided any evidence to show thar Maccabi have such a dreadful reputation. One link was to Jews marching, another about anti semitism, one was a video of chanting etc.

Gala fans, rioted against the rags, stabbed Leeds fans to death, rioted against Arsenal, caused mayhem in Amsterdam this week, cause trouble in Manchester last season, fought with PSG a couple of years ago, fought with Fenerbache last season, problems with Marseille a few seasons ago, etc etc. The list goes on and on but with Maccabi you find a couple of chants and they are the worst set of fans ever! Give it a rest, they were banned due to trouble the local Muslim community would cause. And why should our game be behind closed doors just ban them as Maccabi were. Oh that's right we know how to behave and the GMP will be able to look after 3k away fans like they always do

Then surely Yoonited fans should be banned as they sing about killing City fans and the Glazers..

'I don't believe that any nation should be a homeland for one religion at the exclusion of another, no'

You do realise that nearly 3m Arabs live in Israel and are free to practice their own religion - that's around 20% of the population! That wasn't the question though, so please answer it.

As for the nonsense that fans who sing songs about killing people should be banned that would mean most of the PL and EFL need to be banned.

Land seizure - that's war for you, just like the Muslim conquests, one of the earliest colonisers, how ironic.

These conversations are like those on GB News that insisted on the condemnation of Hamas so that no other point should be considered.

War? No it isn't.

Do you honestly believe this to be true?
If you get your information from pro-Hamas sites or believe everything published on the internet, probably not. But of course it's true, that's an established fact. Thousands of trucks every day. Israel supply them with electricity, water, food and everything they need. Or do you still believe the false propaganda campaign that's been fed to you from a Nazi terror organization? There was no starvation, there is no genocide. There is a terrorist organization with tens of thousands of bloodthirsty killers who are willing for their entire people to die rather than give up power.

Its never your fault is it?

I suppose this lads ticket was promised 3,000 years ago too?

Oh, what a war crime! A football fan entered his team’s game wearing a hat that says “Am Yisrael Chai” (“The People of Israel Live”). What’s the problem with the hat? I guess some of you aren’t exactly in favor of the Jewish people living, tough luck, deal with it quietly. You’re seriously criticizing one peaceful fan for entering a game, rather than the thousands of extremist Muslim hooligans who took over Birmingham and went out hunting Jews just because they’re Jews?

Not asked you to condemn Hamas, although any sane person would do so.

I just asked if you if you believe that the Jewish people have a right to self-determination or a homeland in Israel? That's a yes or no question which so far you have avoided. Do you want to answer that specific question.

You are making assumptions about me...
I am not taking sides.
I am not pro-hamas.
I am not pro-i.d.f.
I do not believe everything on the internet.

Can you provide proof of your claim that it is "an established fact" that thousands of trucks have been delivering food every day?
That is all i ask from you because if you say something is true then you have to be able to back it up with proof.
