Been saying this for years but City prefer the ‘holistic’ approach and will continue to roll out the red carpet for him.He should be banned.
If he's not, we should plonk the ****. He can't be getting away with this slander.
Except for his job, but that's only because of that particular organisation's morals. He spat at a child.
He loses every time. Ever.
For those comments on the charges he should be banned from the ground.
The Forest owner did it to Neville. City should do it to him.
However City will do nothing, as usual.
Keegan better not drive past Carragher anytime soon with his window down.
Good. He's an attention seeking gimp whose analysis has veered from dogshit takes to intentionally incendiary 'hottakes'.
Erm, do you watch any of our televised CL away games with the sound on?Just imagine if Joleon or Micah were spotted trying to get into the Madrid end at Anfield.
They would have been vilified by the media and have death threats from the dipper cult for daring not to show support for an English club.
Does this idiot not realise the relevance of impartiality in sports punditry?? Clearly not.
Massive thundercunt.
He's never experienced it with anyone he's ever worked for, so why should he?Does this idiot not realise the relevance of impartiality in sports punditry?? Clearly not.
It is unbelievable that any broadcaster should employ a pundit who sees part of his role as taunting opposition fans. Given the the toxic atmosphere at some grounds (see Villa Park) it is just stupid to antagonise people. This is not banter this is just incitement at a time when the country is ridden with an unpredictable undercurrent of violence. It doesn’t take much to spark a riot these days.City are playing the 'taking the higher ground' game and have been for years.
Banning him from the away end during the week was cited as a safety move, rather than a character/opinion based one.
They were damn right too, and I think people don't fully appreciate it. He could have felt empowered in a loud away end after a few pretend beers to make provicative gestures, affect songs etc. Whether in shit banter or malice, doesnt really matter, in a potentially charged atmosphere. Which could have pissed off City fans and before you know it the dortmund fans think they have an issue with them and it escalates between two groups for no real reason.
It was a good call by the club and I don't think they were even trying to send any messages or show any teeth, I think it was a purely black and white safety assessment.
Fwiw while I am saying I thought it was the right move, I am not saying I agree with their general 'higher ground' approach btw.
I don’t. In fact, whenever he or Neville commentate on our games, I turn the sound off.Erm, do you watch any of our televised CL away games with the sound on?

They certainly won’t be able to this season at the swamp.Juvenile . Act your age FFS.
Can you imagine any other pundit pulling that sort of disrespectful stunt at Anfield or The Swamp during A Magic European Night under the Floodlights ?
Didn't know he was dead! That's cheered me up...Stan Boardman will be spinning in his grave after what the Germanz did to Carraghers chippy
According to Wikipedia, he’s not.Didn't know he was dead! That's cheered me up...
