Autophagy (and fasting).

Originally I was going with my wife who for medical reasons needed to see a nutritionist. She used what looked like scales but it was also attached via a metal bar to a computer which I held tightly in front of me
After taking several readings the computer printed out coloured bar charts measuring body, water, belly fat, overall fat, BMI of course etc.

No other medical has given me this information so had a go myself.
Amazed to find the muscle info. I researched older age and muscle loss and found it true.

The creatine gives me better grip to use the new or replacement muscle which again works for me.
Creatine is good.

Ping pong ball 50p
I dunno. A friend of mine fucked his back up playing badminton, and it wasn't the actual playing that knackered it, it was constantly having to bend down to pick up the shuttlecock. Hadn't mastered the thing they do where they pick it up with the racquet yet.

Not the same really iws, if youre picking the ping pong ball up off the floor then youve missed the easiest of catches youve presented yourself..which isnt total bad news cause it begs a reflection and if the chuckers young-ish it could point to autism. Either way its a good cheap trick to get bith sides of your brain working out fast paced mathematics ( especially if you skid the ball off the worktop first bouncing off the splashback to offer you an opposite hand howzat/racket sports are unilateral)

Me pal keeps a box of matches in a dish next to his kettle and simply empties em on the floor...then he's committed to pick em up with left or right sided by doing an arabesque move (hamstrings) or a simple bulgarian-ish (hip flexors)..he doesnt play badminton or go to a gym but he's realised without a trigger folk dont sustain exercise, it's why gym membership is worked out like it is. He's over sixfy two...walked 34mile with a 15lb pack on in the summer, his hips tell his brain everything is fine and dandy no creatine needed boss..box of match's cheaper than chips.

I did the 72 hour water only fast, ala Dana White, 2 weeks ago. I like doing hardcore things every now and then, and heard a bit of Dana talking about it a while back on Joe Rogan podcast. As per OP it’s supposed to be good for the autophagy thingy, lol. Part of it for me that all 3 of mine and missus parents have got some form of dementia and I’d heard about autophagy being a help. I also take creatine every day as per one of the benefits supposedly being based on dementia fending off too.

The fast was ok, tough going at times as I continued my normal routine of gym and running etc, had periods where I felt fucking mint and others when I was very light headed. Managed it though, lost 5kg but then put 3 straight back on once I’d eaten and rehydrated. Worthwhile doing though and I’ll definitely do it again.

Good effort. Did you add a bit of salt and lemon to water?

I should add that the following days after I’d finished the fast I felt fucking awesome, completely regenerated etc and very sharp and full of beans.

I eat once a day in the evening (quite low calorie meals), do quite a bit of stretching and a lot of walking.

I find it helps with my overall mobility, flexibility for golf and tennis but most importantly it allows me to get pissed a couple of times a week without putting any weight on.
