Oltomade is gaining elevation by pressing his arms down onto Nunez. Not only was it offside this was a foul.

I’m not going to blame the ref but his performance was all very odd

I don’t think we were hard done by, but the lack of transparency leads to anger

Also, the yellow card thing - there were at least 3 occasions he could have booked players in the first half but didn’t get booked Bobb and Joelinton for less in the second

One of the most consistently poor refereeing performances in recent memory. No real stand out moments because just everything was wrong. Literally everything.

The bit that got my back up most was Tonali committed 3 clear fouls when we were breaking forward and didn't get booked for any of them. Then Bobb barely clips Tonali in the 94th minute in their back corner and is immediately booked. How? In what world? The fucking audacity is mind boggling.

Not here to debate this image but why is Nunez being put up against the tallest player on the pitch . Heck the German doesn't even need to jump to win that header ...Wasn't it the same for the VVD disallowed goal last week ?

My belief it’s a foul to and a pen and a booking! I don’t disagree with any of that! But I don’t think it’s corrupt they got it wrong I think they got it wrong cause now they don’t know how to actually officiate second guessing every decision, I also think the lines on the offside again is just a guess work! For me it’s offside but if they can’t call that in a minute give the goal! I’d rather re start the game quicker and get some momentum again then have the delay and the crowd cheer twice and us be up against it and cold waiting around! Just my opinion!

I agree about their second. Var takes too long but the first decision cannot be put down to a poor decision. It's a clear and obvious late foul

If he doesn't jump he won't win the header because the ball will go over him. This isn't directly from a corner so he may have peeled off onto Nunez.

Me too . I think the referee was intimidated . That midfield were in his ear all game and Tonali got away with it all match . No idea why the foul on Foden wasn't a penalty either .

At the stage it was after the corner, I think he just gravitated that way rather than him being assigned. Still, wouldn't have minded Dias or Gvardiol there instead

It was the wasted chances that cost us the game not some margin call.

Worst I can remember for a while. VAR even worse. The tackle in Foden was assault and penalty. Their centre half then saved it in the area. The goal was blatantly offside.

The hands and arms of all players... are not considered. For the purposes of determining offside, the upper boundary of the arm is in line with the bottom of the armpit.

Unless it's City, in which case it's the elbow! Fucking scandalous; come on City, challenge that **** Howard Webb and his bent PL cronies.
