Will we win the league this season?

We’re too puff pastry away, we need to man up and take control of the games, there’s no fear factor playing us now, we need to protect the keeper and stop letting teams bully us.
We have no Fernandinho or De Jong type characters and it’s a worry, we also need to quit this ‘to you, to me’ passing and attack teams by taking them on, it’s frustrating to f*** to watch.
Come on Pep sort it out.

They’ve been excellent at home this season, they’ve won their last 6 PL+CL home games, only conceding 2 goals in those 6 games, and didn’t deserve to lose to Liverpool nor Arsenal. They’re only 1 point behind us in the CL table and will end up towards to top end of the PL later in the season.

It wasn’t like we were playing a true bottom half team, they’re just a team with poor away form.

Definitely a tough place to go had we had our finishing boots on we'd have got something despite the poor officiating.

Our away form is a real concern, we create bags of chances and don't take them it's really frustrating.

Our next 7 Premier League games

Leeds (H)
Fulham (A)
Sunderland (H)
Palace (A)
West Ham (H)
Forest (A)
Sunderland (A)

That's a pretty decent run and we should be aiming to get maximum points. Palace and Sunderland are the standout tough 1s but Sunderland are losing 6 players to ACON.

Huge 6 weeks ahead if we want to fight for the title.
 
If City want to challenge Arsenal for the title, recent games at Villa and Newcastle were must wins. To lose each game by a single goal, and put in inconsistent performance, is very disappointing.

I think it will be 3rd. We're rebuilding the squad. Arsenal have been building their current squad for four years.

Squad still needs to be better and some of our summer signings look suspect already, Reijnders looks an utter disappointment, compounded by horrific decisions like not selling Savinho and even extending his contract.

Plus, relying on a post ACL Rodri and a crocked Kovacic was also not the best decision. But then the club has made very bad decisions the last two summer windows.

Another summer window or two and we'll be competing again, hopefully Pep extends again too.

My prediction for the next seven league games:-

Leeds (H) - win
Fulham (A) - draw
Sunderland (H) - win
Palace (A) - defeat
West Ham (H) - win
Forest (A) - defeat
Sunderland (A) - defeat

10 points will not be enough to keep us in touch with the current league leaders unfortunately.

All of the above could change if we can get Rodri fit and firing.

Can’t wait to fast forward to next weekend when we have defeated Leeds and Arsenal have dropped points at Chelsea. The positive flip flopping will be amusing
 
I didn’t expect us to lose 4 games before Xmas so for me I can’t see us winning the league unless the gunners crumble and start losing at least 2 more before Xmas.

Rodri won't be fit again until next season. Usually takes a full season for a player with an ACL injury to be back to their best.

Hope you're right but can't see arsenal losing right now. A draw at best I think.

Villa struggled against Leeds and we will too.
