Is this post from 2005?My biggest concern is rags winning the league if Arsenal bottle it. I might just top myself if that happens. Unthinkable

Definitely a tough place to go had we had our finishing boots on we'd have got something despite the poor officiating.Newcastle are a much better team than their league place would suggest.
They’ve been excellent at home this season, they’ve won their last 6 PL+CL home games, only conceding 2 goals in those 6 games, and didn’t deserve to lose to Liverpool nor Arsenal. They’re only 1 point behind us in the CL table and will end up towards to top end of the PL later in the season.
It wasn’t like we were playing a true bottom half team, they’re just a team with poor away form.
There's overreacting, then there's delusion. My biggest concern is rags winning the league if Arsenal bottle it. I might just top myself if that happens. Unthinkable
Title winning seasons aren’t what they once were though. In title winning seasons gone by we’d have taken 6, or at least 4, points from “tough aways” like Villa and Newcastle.
We’ve taken 0.
You don’t win leagues doing that.
Against Spurs…Arsenal looked very good today.
Do you know we're in 2025 and not 1999?My biggest concern is rags winning the league if Arsenal bottle it. I might just top myself if that happens. Unthinkable
Imo a run in the cups and top 4Can't see it, to be honest. We're throwing in too many inconsistent performances. 4 defeats in 12 games is poor, no other way of looking at it. That's 33%. By comparison, Arsenal have lost 1, which equates to 8.3%.
All in for the CL, for me. Probably not good enough to win it, but we have to give it a go.Imo a run in the cups and top 4
No.
We won’t be able to put a run together due to the poor away form.
My prediction for the next seven league games:-
Leeds (H) - win
Fulham (A) - draw
Sunderland (H) - win
Palace (A) - defeat
West Ham (H) - win
Forest (A) - defeat
Sunderland (A) - defeat
10 points will not be enough to keep us in touch with the current league leaders unfortunately.
All of the above could change if we can get Rodri fit and firing.
CTID.
Can’t wait to fast forward to next weekend when we have defeated Leeds and Arsenal have dropped points at Chelsea. The positive flip flopping will be amusing
Oh yesssssssAll in for the CL, for me. Probably not good enough to win it, but we have to give it a go.
