Russian invasion of Ukraine

Things are happening in Germany that might help Ukraine. The Green party has jumped in with enhanced support demands for Ukraine, and in a speech over the weekend Mertz indicated things have to change.

An important heavily defended Russian command centre was hit and badly damaged in Donetsk last week. Russian command was in a bit of a panic for 5 days according to Telegram channels as they didn't have a scooby as to how it happened.

Incidently this allowed Ukraine to regain a small chunk of territory near Pokrovsk as the Russians didn't respond quickly to a Ukrainian counter attack.

Rumours within Ukraine and Russia point to the test deployment of a UK R&D research programme missile by Ukraine whose mid-course and terminal phases are intelligent glide correction phases that are very difficult to pick up on radar, or indeed infra-red. The end result being that you can silently take out important enemy command centres without warning.

Personally I think that Ukraine found a new way of deploying FPV drones without triggering Russian warning systems, but, If true, and that's a big IF, then the UK Nightfall medium range balistic missile programme is mure advanced than thought and is under concept test in live fire consitions. Funny that putin now insists to respect intl law (sic!) to protect russian territory in the new 4 partly robbed oblasts plus Crimea. LOL

So we know that putin is a liar and can't step back an inch to have peace. Weakness is not part of his universe.

We know that trump is only a wannabee deal maker anymore and not supporting Ukraine to defend their freedom and not a NATO ally.

We know that UK and Europe are right in the middle of a huge defence ramp-up that is starting to deliver rising output for Ukraine.

But we don't know exactly how exhausted both sides plus their supporting countries are right now or being ready to extend their hopes into the future for a better outcome.

I think Ukraine has no reason yet to consider hard painful facts when UK+EU support starts to improve significantly.

A solution is far away and unlike Gaza trump can't just force a "peace" as the war is way too big for him to get involved directly.

Current "negotiations" are just tactical games. No results expected here.

I do laugh to myself that the American administration bigs itself up as a fantastic deal maker when they're as weak as piss in negotiations

The Propaganda assault on Ukraine by Russia and Corporate America at the moment is staggering

Also it is strangely familiar...

The troops sent to Finland were low caliber and not used to snow. Most couldn't ski, so they trudged in single file through the snow. Finnish snipers would lie in ambush for the Russians and shoot the third man in the line, then ski off and find a new spot for the next ambush. It broke the Russian morale because no one wanted to be third in the line.

I thought this part hilarious.

Russian society, thanks to its saturation with propaganda, is convinced that the negative attitude towards Russia in the world is caused by westerners’ envy toward Russia’s achievements, its territory, its natural resources and its culture.

With the Russians coached by Trump’s envoy. It is being said that Putin has promised loads of US/russia trade deals with Trump and his family sharing in the business, if Ukraine is defeated. How true that is I know not.
Note to Trump: Putin will renege on all the deals, he’s as big a liar as you are.

I had a discussion with a ruSSian about what their country has brought to the table regarding the betterment of mankind, after naming a few authors and composers the list was very short.
