I am terrified by this. Clearly, his entire rehab regimen has been compromised by some injury. At least he's being handled correctly by the club, but I think we are frozen into inaction on a contract extension until he returns and provides evidence of recovery. It's the intersection of the two issues, his rehab/return and his contract situation, that puts the club in a vulnerable situation.Problem there is we were clearly expecting Rodders to be providing more minutes by now - the fact he isn't is a huge concern
I am most impessed with his long-passing ability. Overall, if I had to, I'd stump up £90 M for him. I think he can become a better player than Rice, who is tremendous himself, IMHO. If Rodri departs, a trio of Nico, Anderson and Wharton would be great. Add in Reijnders and we'd be set to dominate the league for some time.Think we need to go all out for Anderson
Literally the "complete" midfielder, he has energy/legs for B2B, he is calm/composed in possession to resist the press as an #6, has vision/technique to play progressively through the lines, he likes to break up play and isnt afraid to tackle
I wished we went for Rice, knew we'd regret it and I think Anderson could be the same
Nico needs a partner and Rodri needs to be replaced, Anderson is that guy
At the current rate none of those figures are achievableSavinho @ £50m
Lewis @ £40m
Bobb @ £30m
I’d love to see him actually have a shot! That's my issue with Bobb in general. He doesn't look to make a final pass or have a shot early or often enough when he's expected to have much more of an impact in the final third.
lol. Some people talk shite these day.
Arenal will ask crazy money imhoI'd certainly take him. Can play CB and RB and still only 28.
Doubt it'll happen tho.
He’s certainly talented and fits an area we need but no way it happens - Arsenal wouldn’t sell unless he really pushed for it and they wouldn’t sell to us anyway.I'd certainly take him. Can play CB and RB and still only 28.
Doubt it'll happen tho.
