Players who might improve us

Me personally just don’t think the players we need to replace our older players are out there, we’ve sighed 6/7 players in the last two windows and not been impressed with the skills they have, we need established players to come in and make a difference.

Problem there is we were clearly expecting Rodders to be providing more minutes by now - the fact he isn't is a huge concern
I am terrified by this. Clearly, his entire rehab regimen has been compromised by some injury. At least he's being handled correctly by the club, but I think we are frozen into inaction on a contract extension until he returns and provides evidence of recovery. It's the intersection of the two issues, his rehab/return and his contract situation, that puts the club in a vulnerable situation.

Van hecke has 18 months left on his deal. Brighton will look to cash in this summer. Be all over him.

Minteh - another one from Brighton who would be exceptional for us imo. Pressing machine, great numbers and only 21.

Anderson - seems to be the best option

Livramento - assuming still hasn’t signed a new deal

Ndiaye - from Everton. Ready to make the leap imo

Departures - ake, Bernardo, savinho, grealish, Trafford, rico Lewis

Use Trafford in deal with livramento
Use grealish in deal for Ndiaye

Easy this squad building lark.

I honestly don’t think throwing money at the problems doesn’t help. We’ve signed so many players. The squad is very different. We have new weaknesses like building up from the back, and lack of technical quality on the ball. The club should take all the time it needs in the squad building.

Think we need to go all out for Anderson

Literally the "complete" midfielder, he has energy/legs for B2B, he is calm/composed in possession to resist the press as an #6, has vision/technique to play progressively through the lines, he likes to break up play and isnt afraid to tackle

I wished we went for Rice, knew we'd regret it and I think Anderson could be the same

Nico needs a partner and Rodri needs to be replaced, Anderson is that guy

I am most impessed with his long-passing ability. Overall, if I had to, I'd stump up £90 M for him. I think he can become a better player than Rice, who is tremendous himself, IMHO. If Rodri departs, a trio of Nico, Anderson and Wharton would be great. Add in Reijnders and we'd be set to dominate the league for some time.

That's my issue with Bobb in general. He doesn't look to make a final pass or have a shot early or often enough when he's expected to have much more of an impact in the final third.
I’d love to see him actually have a shot!
He just doesn’t shoot(and yea I know he has passed it into the net) even out of anger or frustration, he’s just to controlled.

I'd certainly take him. Can play CB and RB and still only 28.

Doubt it'll happen tho.
He’s certainly talented and fits an area we need but no way it happens - Arsenal wouldn’t sell unless he really pushed for it and they wouldn’t sell to us anyway.

He’s also a twat by all accounts. Remember all that stuff when he left the England camp? I found it funny that shortly after when Arsenal extended his contract they did a video where all the players had to describe him with one word and the answers were things like interesting and unique.

He can't get in the Arsenal side I don't think he'd significantly improve us. And is this the way to stay ahead of Arsenal, sign their backups? Seems like an Arsenal move.
