Camavinga out too apparently:

-------------------Courtois
Asencio--Rudiger--Carreras--Garcia
-----------Valverde----Tchouameni
Guler-----------Bellingham-------Vini Jr
-------------------Mbappe

Same back 4 as last night but Rudiger for Militao and they were awful, so hopefully they do that.

Maybe Valverde right to cover Asencio and move Guler inside.

I'm not sure there is a player playing in world football I despise more profoundly than Rudiger.

I'm confused......

How many they have sent off yesterday, reading the report it says 2, but has 3 there, it also says both of them were for 2 yellows.

Not like the bbc to be full of shit about football is it ?
Think endrick got sent off from the bench

Dont see why we can't get a result here with them losing yesterday and seemingly having a few injuries. Hoping for something special from Phil or jezza on the biggest of stages. Not sure if cherki will start, think Pep will go foden doku bernardo nico G and maybe reijnders in midfield

Couldn't give a fucj if we ose but will be delighted if we win.

As an elite club, we must take this competition seriously.

Here in France, we call him "Mr. Penalty." He blows his whistle for a penalty at the slightest contact in the box, and he hates being overruled by VAR. I think he's the referee who awards the most penalties in Europe.

He's the one who gave us a penalty and Bayern a penalty in Munich during the second leg of the 2023 Champions League quarter-finals.

We have to be careful.
Here in England, I think he would be known as Richard!

It’s as good a time as any to play them. Still think we’re up against it though, just because it’s Madrid at the Bernabeu. Not sure we have the mental fortitude to go there and win, but hope to be proved wrong. Just can’t really remember our last away victory against a top side?

If we're including; Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern, Inter, Real, Atletico, Barca, PSG. Then it's August 2024 last season 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.

If we're talking the top sides of the last few years; Arsenal, Liverpool, Bayern, Inter, Real, Barca, PSG. Then it's the 3-1 Arsenal win in the treble season, Feb 2023.

In Europe it's PSG in April 2021. Not beat Madrid at the Bernabau since Feb 2020.

It's been a while.

We weren't at all competitive at the Bernabau last season, one of the few games we'd written off before it had even started. Didn't even do that in the smashing at the Emirates last season.
