They want him gone, dressing room is split, these injuries from Madrid players are too get Alonso sacked. Their egos are hurt. Just glad I’m not there having been the last two seasons. More plastic fans that Trafford fc and a similar position to level 7 Newcastle but with fucking netting obscuring your view, plus an hour and a quarter kept in after the game, horrible football experience. While I agree he makes their attack very dangerous, his work-rate in defence is poor. Whoever replaces him will run a lot more off the ball.

Part of their problems is that their forwards are not hard workers off the ball. It means we can control the ball quite well in comparison to some games in the PL. I'm sure we'll create multiple good chances. If our forwards are good tomorrow, we'll score at least 2 goals.

Think he might stick with the eleven from the weekend but swap Foden and Cherki round to give Nunes a bit more help against Vinicius. Equally he could put Reijnders in for Cherki and I wouldn't be shocked.
