VoluntarilyWhy not. There are plenty of roles women do in the armed forces, not all are combatants

If the shit hits the fan, men and women will be utilisedVoluntarily
That's volunteering not being forced when you aren't mentally or physically able.
Yesweren't you advocating for them not to join?
Wouldn’t take long to train me up, I can still remember my rifle drills 25 years after leaving I can take orders without crying to my mum and I know hurty words don’t really matter.Just get the Dads Army in place, and we’ll be sorted.
Pipe down and take your fat pension that the current generation can only dream of thanks to you pouring unimaginable debt on the generations to comeFirst of all what is his generation? Secondly how have they screwed the country? If he’s a similar age to me and born in the 60s then his generation grew up walking to school, having hopefully one holiday a year in the uk, grew up in the 80s with massive unemployment, then hopefully got work and helped build the country through the 90s and 2000s, contributing tax towards a state pension and building the nhs to a level unknown in the past, bringing prosperity to many through those times, helping secure us in the Cold War and eventually winning that. His generation have brought us the technology only dreamed off in sci fi movies to allow us to supposedly have a better life. It’s only in the last 5/10 years it’s gone to rat shit through the greed of bankers and a pandemic, non of which most of his generation had anything to do with. His generation also had to pay off the debt of ww2 caused by the previous generation but they didn’t fucking whinge about it.
No-one knows the trouble I’ve seen!First of all what is his generation? Secondly how have they screwed the country? You need helpPipe down and take your fat pension that the current generation can only dream of thanks to you pouring unimaginable debt on the generations to come
You were privileged, made a mess of the country and then gave the temerity to blame the younger generations that your lot fucked up
Remember there’s no such thing as society… well done for that
Kids being born now will likely receive no state pension at all but you’re happy there contributing to your triple lock coffers no doubt
Shameful
No, the young people need help, not the older generation who filled their boots bankrupted the country then pulled up the drawbridgeYou need help
Women are an integral part of our Armed Forces, just need more of them.I vividly remember in the buildup to the Ukraine War a 'Marta' being interviewed on the frontline border of Ukraine when it wasn't 100% clear whether Russia would invade or not.
These days there's definitely some women involved even in the most dangerous areas of conflict.
Filled their boots . Oh do fuck off with this shiteNo, the young people need help, not the older generation who filled their boots bankrupted the country then pulled up the drawbridge
And to top it off then suggest what they need to do is go fight Russia
That your idea of help keep it petal
Ha ha I’ve not even got my state pension that I’ve paid for yet although I do draw a pension that I certainly paid a lot into, how have I made loads of debt for the country, I wasn’t the one that caused a financial crash of biblical proportions, I didn’t cause a world wide pandemic, how am I privileged? I worked and saved I served my country and my community for 35 years and I did without, something everyone is going to have to do again, I didn’t want or need a £1k phone, brand new bmw every 3 years or designer clothes and 3 holidays a year, I’d say thats privilege. I didn’t blame the younger generation to me fucking the world up in 2 world wars, yet my taxes paid that off, shit happens and you get on with it. If the state pension goes then save for your own, but you’ll have to do without and we can’t have that can we!Pipe down and take your fat pension that the current generation can only dream of thanks to you pouring unimaginable debt on the generations to come

Says something that we’ve still got the same rifle. ‘Safety catch, change lever, magazine, sights, cock the weapon … Watch and shoot’.Wouldn’t take long to train me up, I can still remember my rifle drills 25 years after leaving I can take orders without crying to my mum and I know hurty words don’t really matter.
Don't tell them your name...Just get the Dads Army in place, and we’ll be sorted.
