Firstly, I'd imagine given we play Sunderland on Jan 1st that we'd have to have signed Semenyo the day before in order for him to be eligible to play. Given the day before the Sunderland game is before the transfer window happens......not happening.Wouldn't mind Semenyo straight in against Sunderland, and no, I'm not even taking the piss. Injuries and AFCON have absolutely killed us. We’ve got zero options off the bench when we’re chasing a game. Only way we turn this around without a quick fix like Semenyo is if Doku is back tomorrow. Without him, we’ve got no teeth upfront. It’s a proper tough run coming up, far too many fixtures to be relying on what we've currently got.
Isn't Marmoush supposed to make us less dependent on Haaland? Should Erling be injured or need a rest then I'd hope/expect Marmoush would be stepping into the striker position once he's back from AFCON.Semenyo would make us less dependent on Haaland not just because he is good at scoring goals but also because we can play with a false 9 (Foden/Cherki) if/when Haaland isn't available or needs a rest.
Semenyo and Doku on both wings, Foden and Cherki centrally, Gonzalez and Rodri behind them. Looks pretty good to me.
Only six fewer than the Tarquin bestest defence of all time ever, who play with 4 CBs and 2DMsIs there a human in the planet that doesn't have mistakes in him ?
IF there was a mistake counter, I am sure you will find more mistakes from Haaland , Foden ...etc more than Gvardiol & Dias.
We are the 2nd best defence in the league
Conceded less goals in the league than Barcelona
Madrid conceded 16 City 17
might just be cheaper to waitThe release clause expires on January 10th
This will be done within the next 7 days

"... AFCON have killed us...."? Seriously? The two guys we've lost to it aren't first choices in their respective positions. Bench options, at best.Wouldn't mind Semenyo straight in against Sunderland, and no, I'm not even taking the piss. Injuries and AFCON have absolutely killed us. Marmoush and Ait Nouri need game time so Afcon is good for us.Firstly, I'd imagine given we play Sunderland on Jan 1st that we'd have to have signed Semenyo the day before in order for him to be eligible to play. As for "AFCON has absolutely killed us", our two players at the tournament (Ait-Nouri and Marmoush) have barely featured this season and therefore haven't really contributed to where we currently are. That's not a criticism of the players as I rate both, but it's fact. Both have suffered injuries which has put them out for extended spells. Meanwhile, check how many first team players Sunderland have got at AFCON. I'd suggest they are much more impacted by AFCON than we are.
Or potentially, Semenyo as the striker. With Doku, Foden abd Cheeki behind himSemenyo would make us less dependent on Haaland not just because he is good at scoring goals but also because we can play with a false 9 (Foden/Cherki) if/when Haaland isn't available or needs a rest.

Fucking hell Jim talk about people making mountains out of molehills."... AFCON have killed us...."? Seriously? The two guys we've lost to it aren't first choices in their respective positions. Bench options, at best.
My guess is 15What squad number will he wear
Technically we could sign him the day before, it's the registration that would be a problem. I've no idea what the cut off point of that would be, but it is possible (maybe).Firstly, I'd imagine given we play Sunderland on Jan 1st that we'd have to have signed Semenyo the day before in order for him to be eligible to play.
