Black shorts.I was born during a match if that counts. We won 3-2 at Arsenal. I was in my 30s when we next won there.
Or you were born in 1939.There wasn't any league games after my birthday as it was finished in April but now lots
The thread is for the first game City played after you were born, not the first City match you attended. That's my understanding at least.Southampton home 78-79 season i think. As part of being a junior blue we had a tour of Maine Road before the game and went into the changing rooms and saw Paul Power on a massage couch in his pants. This was for my best mates 7th birthday. Rip Tim
Trivia
Episode #1.726
Coronation Street
The location work for the football match took place at Manchester City's Maine Road home ground on Saturday 11th November 1967, when they were playing Leicester City.

Beat you to it by a couple of weeks … opening game of the season, a 2-1 home win over Forest on 22nd August. Apparently Ken Barnes should’ve been sent off for a second bookable offence and Bobby Johnstones winner chalked off for a foul on the Forest defender. The more things change eh!Mine 2nd September 1959 3-1 victory at home against Fulham, McAdams and Colbridge scored.
1st City game I went on 28th December 1964 2-0 defeat away to Bury at Gigg Lane.
Cheers. Couldn't find a pic. Annie Walker mob handed!
