Norbiton Junior was born while City were playing- 4.40 on 17March 1984, the 5-1 defeat at Craven Cottage. I’ve always been grateful to him for sparing me that

Southampton home 78-79 season i think. As part of being a junior blue we had a tour of Maine Road before the game and went into the changing rooms and saw Paul Power on a massage couch in his pants. This was for my best mates 7th birthday. Rip Tim

Mine 2nd September 1959 3-1 victory at home against Fulham, McAdams and Colbridge scored.

1st City game I went on 28th December 1964 2-0 defeat away to Bury at Gigg Lane.
Beat you to it by a couple of weeks … opening game of the season, a 2-1 home win over Forest on 22nd August. Apparently Ken Barnes should’ve been sent off for a second bookable offence and Bobby Johnstones winner chalked off for a foul on the Forest defender. The more things change eh!
