Hopefully with Rodri back he can start being played up front again. He's a second striker being asked to create from deep and it's freezing him out. He needs to be the last man touching the ball in moves, not stringing them together.
That’s funny because others say that’s what makes him great. Dropping deep. Feel like the reasoning for bad games of his changes every week.Hopefully with Rodri back he can start being played up front again. Not world class. Really??
He's 25. So close to 30.Not for me.
Very talented though. I guess my threshold of what i consider truly world class is different. Yeah he's had brilliant moments and brilliant season two years ago but he's not kicking on and not consistent enough to be world class. He's closer to 30 than 20 now too.
Cherki created a golden chance for Reijinders in the 93rd, and he should have buried that. What did Cherki do in the first half?
Cherki created one chance for Savio in the second half, but otherwise did nothing.
That was a tough chance to take, IMO, and I asked OP about the first half, anyway.Cherki created a golden chance for Reijinders in the 93rd, and he should have buried that.
We've scored the most goals in the league by A LOT with Foden as the 10. Scoring more goals/creating chances is the least of our issues. That’s funny because others say that’s what makes him great. Dropping deep. Feel like the reasoning for bad games of his changes every week.
For me he just isn’t that good this season as some make it seem. yeah he can score out of nowhere ( same position) but there are many games where he barely made impact like today. Not a #10 and don’t know why we force him to play the #10 when our most creative midfielder plays on the right
But he is a #10. His best games this season have come in that position. Pep seems to think he's an #8, or even deeper sometimes, and I've no idea why. That’s funny because others say that’s what makes him great. Dropping deep. Feel like the reasoning for bad games of his changes every week.

My critical thinking is that he doesn’t have the impact he should have as a 10 and goes hiding. Sorry for telling the truth I know the golden boy is special and someone you shouldn’t criticize in here. As another one stated here. There’s a reason others don’t think of him as highly as most here do. When your creative impact comes from the player on the RW instead of the guy who plays behind the striker then you can definitely ask yourself why they are not switching positions. We've scored the most goals in the league by A LOT with Foden as the 10. I know you hate Phil as a player, but stop being so reactionary and at least back up your criticism with some critical thinking.

„ most goals scored with Foden as a 10“ but also not accepting that all our creative impact comes from the wings with Doku and Cherki. The stats don’t lie they conpletely outshine him in chance creation and carrying the ball up the field. Today was another of this games and he wasn’t seen. Pronto.

Trust me he won’t.For your own sake, just stop.
yup thats exactly what I meant. Same reasoning when he stunk up the place in the European competition for England and people here complained that it was Bellingham and saka‘s fault. Put the pink glasses off and stop being delusional. In terms of creative output he is a big step down from KDB/ Silva or Nasri and already outshined by Cherki who is playing on the wing until he is „ ready „ in Pep‘s eyes. Nothing wrong with accepting that he isn’t a creative player. There’s a reason he barely gets 3-4 assists a season to Haaland despite playing next to himFor your own sake, just stop.
