PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The smear punishment is nearing its end. No one gets angry about it anymore apart from Hairy hands in Qatar and the mo salah hater.

I haven't seen it mentioned in the same venom now for ages.

It’s about to hit like a damp squib.

Time is great in some ways. After 3 years the burning hate is extinguished and nearly gone. Who’s left? Insignificant YouTubers and washed out reporters.

The 3 Judges must be raking it in unless they are all on a fixed fee? They can drag it out as long as they want. The other circuit judges must be gutted they’ve missed out on such a lucrative pay day.

On a deadly serious note. The loser is going to have to pay an absolute fortune in legal costs running into £10’s of millions. Let’s hope it’s Masters, the PL, and the other 19 PL clubs.

The cost to the losing party is going to be astronomical :-( worries me as we had no choice but to defend ourselves but the PL & Masters must have been pretty confident to take it the full distance.

Can't wait for it to be over.

I don't think Paddy Power specifically target City, but when they do, it's on this issue. Looking at it from another perspective, it shows the power (no pun intended) the issue has to generate publicity and it has kept City's name i the public eye around the world. Whether that's a good or bad thing is arguable...is it true that "all publicity is good publicity"...the guy that said it ran a circus
