What part would be brilliant? We defend a lot 1v1, he'd get absolutely roasted defensively as we know he can't defend. Offensively, he's best at spearheading quick counters, i know we've been doing that a bit more but its still not our primary way of playing and we basically never put crosses into the box and only ever have Haaland in the box. He'd be a total misfit for us. Plus, he wouldn't even get into the side ahead of Nunes, who's now vital to our backline.

Having said all that, I'd take him in a heartbeat and sing his name louder than anyones every week just because of the scouse piss it would boil.

Just think Pep could teach him a thing or 2, he's done wonders with Delph, Zinchenko, Nunes and O'Reily and they weren't even full backs.

Madrid apparently wanting to offload Rudiger for 10 million.
Now I know he’s **** of the highest order (I’ll never forgive him for smashing KDB’s face in) but maybe worth a punt at that price as back up to our injury prone back line.

If they're wanting to offload him, it's because he's done. Picked up a lot of injuries over the last 18 months. He's quite an explosive player, if he loses that, he wont be half the player he was. Plus, he'll be on a colossal wage at Madrid. Never buy somebody at the tail end of their career from Madrid. Leave that to United.
