As has been said many times before, the process was the punishment. The worst of the process is over now, it's fizzling out. Even the most bitter of bitter rival fans are somewhat bored of it now, and there's nowhere near the amount of "what about City's charges" noise that there used to be. It rears its head every now and then, usually when we have a good result or look threatening.I genuinely believe that the desired outcome from the PL is exactly what has happened every day since they announced them. It's not really ever been about a specific punishment or end game from them, it was simply to wage as long a period of slander, noise and defamation as possible, using their pet media outlets to pump bile on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. I don't think they ever thought they'd get a final serious punishment, but they decided to progress anyway out of hatred, racism and pressure from the hateful eight.
Just seen a clickbait headline that we're within hours of finding out our fate. No mention of course that this is just re. the 23/24 PSR checks. I'm beginning to hate online media with a passion. Is today we are likely to hear about or if there ane any PL 23/24 PSR ?
My guess none of the current clubs will have exceeded but I wonder what the state of play is re Leicester which I guess is complicated because they are now an EFL club .

Quite.. and not only that, I'm still waiting/looking forward to reading the in-depth article(s) in the media analysing the findings of the investigation into who it was who spliced the two e-mails together to make it look like we'd done something wrong when the first lot of charges went before UEFA and then subsequently to CAS.. better not hold my breath for much longer, what? That's almost 3 years since the actual charges were dropped on us all, it's over 7(seven) years (05/11/2018) since Der Spiegel made the emails public that started it all.
Illegal documents are just that illegal.Quit

Have to admit it did briefly cross my mind hahaSoft signal to start again? :-)
You've got over 6000 pages to catch up on. I suggest a brew, some biscuits and a comfy chair.People who are somewhat informed about the situation, are you confident we'll beat the charges? I'm not asking for wishful thinking here, but that the charges themselves is an inflated witch hunt?
I don’t believe for one moment that City would allow them to use a term that would be ‘grey’ in nature and open to attack. I would expect us to challenge that before full publication.I’m no expert in these sorts of cases, but I’d presume it’d be worded similar to CAS’s verdict? In that it could say that the Premier League’s evidence was “not established”. Just guessing there but if they can’t prove we’ve done it, surely it would read favourably to City. No doubt the usual suspects in the media will see one phrase, similar to “time-barred” with the CAS one and latch on to it like their life depends on it, as a way of suggesting we got away with it.
To be fair read the first couple of pages and you'll have all the information contained in the thread. You've got over 6000 pages to catch up on. I suggest a brew, some biscuits and a comfy chair.
Good luck.
Fuck that, if I've had to read 6000 pages than so do they!! Haha!To be fair read the first couple of pages and you'll have all the information contained in the thread.
Did you have someone with you to translate what they were saying.I overheard a Newcastle fan on the train back to Durham after the game…
“They should change the rules to stop state funding”
Lol!
Also some blabber about how we’ll force them to change the rules so we get away with it.

It doesn't really matter how confident anyone on here is, it's what the 3 man panel decide the evidence from both sides amounts to.People who are somewhat informed about the situation, are you confident we'll beat the charges?
