2 done. Think the club recognised the opportunity in this 2nd half of the season.

Anderson, I'm less bothered about if Rodri and Gonzalez are fit. I actually think I prefer Wharton but no chance they sell, Palace fans would be throwing themselves off of Selhurst Park. I'd take Anderson though.

Club would be crazy to let Alleyne go one way or another. It’s up to the player if he is ok with being fifth choice next season. Think Reis will get another loan and come into the first team if there’s another injury crisis or one of the others mentioned leaves.

U21 list is basically unlimited? So we can keep both Reis and Alleyne on it(both in UCL and EPL)?

Don't see Mbete playing a role personally and let's just ignore Phillips.

I wasn't aware of that second rule. Looks like we'll have to drop someone from the EPL squad list? Bettinelli or Stones

Reis wouldn’t be but if thats the squad by my counting there would be a space in the 17 free list for him .That said I couldn’t see both Reis and Alleyne both staying, think one would be loaned. Also I’d expect Trafford would be replaced by a keeper that would need a place on the 17 list.
 
At the moment our PL HG list is:-
Trafford
Bettinelli
Stones
Ake
Phillips
Foden
Bobb
Semenyo

and we have 15 on the free list - so no problem putting Guehi into the PL squad on the free list.

The problem is the CL squad where Khusanov and Savinho need to be included in the A-List. Either Semenyo or Guehi can be included as HG as Philips was not included. So someone needs to be removed from the A list to include the other one. The most obvious to me is Ortega, unless we are resigned to Gvardiol being unavailable until June.

We seem to be paying Doku or Savinho a good bit less than the others.
Stones and Marmoush hardly playing but both in the top 5 earners.

Agree, I reckon Reis will do another year on loan, maybe at a club in the Europa League to give him a taste
Will still be only 21 when he comes back after that
Despite one of the new plastic overseas mob who think we should play 11 teenagers declaring war on me last year, when I predicted he’d go on loan this season

Squad is nearly complete, so the summer should be about saying goodbye to established players (Silva, Stones, Ortega), trying to offload players a year early (Ake, Kovacic), and signing another midfielder (Anderson).

As this season unfolds, an area we should be attentive to is creativity in the centre of the park. We can’t allow ourselves to become wholly dependent on Cherki, as we’ve seen from de Bruyne what can happen when we only have one central outlet. I still think Bobb has that potential, but the club must be increasingly concerned over his ability to recover.
