Its a gamble when you buy players unless they are already top class. Often you're buying potential and hoping they will get better. Walker, De Bruyne and Gundogan were pretty much too players in their leagues when we signed them. Rodri not so much and he looked a dud at first but certainly went up a few levels. Fingers crossed our new additions do the same.

I know today was wank but I can think of many more games v these cunts where we’ve been just as wank.

Give it a rest ffs. Pep is getting nothing out of them. So called greatest manager of all time being outboxed by PE teachers with half the ability in their team in the last few eeeks

Pep saying didnt have a read on the rags. like is he surprised they defended with 10-11 players but used super quick counters?
surely that was completely expected especially with Carrick coming in 3 days ago and that was only possible way for him to go plus asking them to get stuck in, run more and get int them its derby, do it for the fans bla bla bla. which was completely enough sadly.

Pep both overrates them and underrates them at the same time. such a strange thing.

You know pep he likes to watch games to see how they play and is why players say they can’t believe how pep tells you what’s going to happen in a game about the opponents!

No concerns with Guehi coming but I really hope Semenyo is allowed to play his normal game here and doesn't revert to the passing back, sideways shit that all our wingers now seem to do
 
The result today is the tipping point. Abject performances all over the place. It’s not acceptable.

Who do we want to be? A better version of spurs or the previous all conquering city?

This version is poor and unacceptable.

With the current resources? Yes I remember 0-5 Simon Tracey etc but that’s when they were head and shoulders above us.
Today was unacceptable from all who travelled on the team bus today bar the driver

Given the defence we had to field we should have defended deeper and relied on the pace of Doku, Semenyo and Haaland. Playing so open just played into the rags hands. We didn't play that way at our ground with a better defence so why do it today?
Arsenal dropped points again which makes our miserable haul of three points from the last twelve even more frustrating.

It’s so weird this take no one takes context of a situation anymore! it’s like you have win or it’s finger pointing at players a manager! We were shit it was one of the worse performances in a long time. Now for me there is a lot of context to why that is! Move on forget it..
