Given the defence we had to field we should have defended deeper and relied on the pace of Doku, Semenyo and Haaland. Playing so open just played into the rags hands. We didn't play that way at our ground with a better defence so why do it today?
Arsenal dropped points again which makes our miserable haul of three points from the last twelve even more frustrating.

Your first couple of sentences…..not exactly rocket science eh? Everyone knew they would have new manager bounce, interim or not. We have known for weeks our midfield has had gaping holes in it so a solid line at the back, even playing defensively and counter attacking would have done for me, it’s against that lot, I don’t give a monkey’s uncle so long as we win it.

In my 50 years of watching this club, I really don’t think I can remember such an abject Derby performance.
Have seen plenty of defeats by the RAGS especially when we didn’t have the recourses we have now.
Today the lack of effort, reaction, physicality and leadership was appalling.

Even when we were shite we displayed more desire and tenacity than that shitshow earlier on.

Typically too their performances have improved. To be honest it doesn't really matter anymore what Arsenal do from here we just don't have the bollocks to chase them down.

Exactly, guaranteed dropped points at Liverpool, Spurs, possibly Chelsea, Arsenal home, plus some surprise others. We just haven't got it in us anymore to go on a long winning run

I love Pep , he is the best ever, but its time to change. Can't change the whole team every summer , but most of these players just can't play Peps football. That was one of the most embarassing games ive seen under Pep.

I think any blue with a brain knew that the Derby falling after a League Cup semi-final was going to be difficult. And then we go into the game with a defensive injury crisis that worsened on the day of the game.

This is not excuses it's real. See Arsenal at Forest. They played Chelsea on Wednesday and were similarly rubbish at the City Ground.
