PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Fans in work mouthing about City's charges today.
One is a Chelsea fan, the others Arsenal and United.
I reminded them all that Chelsea got found guilty of 77 charges and not one person is mentioning it
It quickly shut them up
'They don't like it up 'em, Captain Mainwaring..'

Yours was the perfect response.. my cap, were I to be wearing one, would be doffed in your general direction..

I should add to this that family barristers, unless they are extremely senior, will wear the clobber even less than commercial counsel. So not quite ‘most infrequently’. And thinking about it, some PI barristers never go to court. All they do is advices. Rinse and repeat. Boring as fuck. So they will never put the clobber on.
What about the small claims court? ;>)

Property development partnership in Abu Dhabi will go down well with the red top media!
Yas residences? Place’ll be full of plastics…

As it stands, we have two itk sources, Cheesy and Stefan. Cheesy says its this week or next, his source, if true, must be City. Stefan says he knows it didn't happen last week and nonone knows when its due, he won't or can't confirm if his source is in the PL or City.
I’m pretty sure that Stefan said he had more than one source and that they came from both sides.

Difficult to know whether the Cheesy stuff is accurate or just a punt.

Remember that last season he was telling people at Liverpool away that he'd heard we were getting a 40 point deduction then denied saying it a few days later. On the flip side, he did tweet that we'd won at CAS before anybody else. Lucky guess? Possibly, but I reckon he got that off a contact within the club. Not necessarily a huge ITK piece of news even if he did though, as from what I heard the club told all the staff on the Friday afternoon before the Monday of the publication of the award so it wasn't just Cheesy who got hold of it. In fact, the news spread quite far over that weekend because certain people aren't capable of keeping stuff to themselves when they've been on the lash - for instance, it was the worst kept secret in, cough cough, Bredbury that weekend!

The phrase he used was “completely exonerated” That’s good enough for me 48 hours before anyone else. I’m not getting into a tit for tat about Cheeseman either.

No intention of that either at all. My issue was the word 'confirm' itself.

As goood as that claim/guess was, and I said it at the time and still say that today, it was not a confirming of any sort.

But your overall point stands, he did call that one right, knowingly or otherwise.

We don’t even know for sure he said anything.

If he did I don’t see how he or, more importantly, anyone at City would get 1-2 weeks advanced warning of the date they will receive the findings? I guess they will receive it when the panel send it. I think City and the PL might agree a date to release the findings but that’s different to the panel giving them some sort of vague delivery date! At best it’s someone at City guessing and passing that guess on to him.
