No, it’s not. If you check that game back, Doku was begging to be brought off as he was completely done, but Pep made a triple sub yet still left him on. That’s on Pep.I think that's harsh on Pep. Injuries have sadly been a big part of his career for as long as he's been a professional. Probably understandable given his playstyle.

Fair point, we are on a bad run at the moment with players injured and others going through a bad patch. It's all about confidence and momentum, if that is low, then conceding a goal early in the second half leads to self doubt and therefore more errors which compounds the problem even more. A couple of good wins with good performances would make a world of difference. Unfortunately I don't know how soon that will happen. At least we didn't lose.Still rather be where we are than the rags..
Still in all 4 competitions isn't really a shit stain of a season..but I agree we aren't playing great.
Hopefully we will win something..or even get an occasional VAR decision in our favour
For me, we just did not want it enough. No hunger. No onslaught in the last 10 minutes. Spurs were absolutely abysmal in the first half and that is when we should have put the game to bed. That we ended up with Donnarumma making more crucial saves than Vicario tells the whole story. The crowd was totally quiet and ready to erupt against their own club, we needed to be ruthless and twist the knife. Read the ****ing room lads! As a group, we need to vastly improve our mentality and impose our will on the opposition rather than falling apart as soon as we are confronted with any aggression. We seem to lack those 100% competitive, battling players who will run through brick walls rather than lose. We are great when we are much, much better than the opposition but when our opponent is our equal we tend to bottle out rather than battle on.

Look, Pep is untouchable, rightly so with his record at City, but winners don't become comfortable at losing or taking 2nd best from their players. We are not talking about 6 to 10 games here, its will be nearly 2 seasons and some very bad performances and not all down to injury crises

I just watched the replay of their first goal and the foul on Guehi.

I’d hardly describe the officials and VAR as football gods.City's fanbase is now really soft and entitled. That's what bothers me more than anything else.
It was very disappointing not to win but 2-2 at Spurs is not a disaster. The game went against us and yes we should have done better but the Football Gods were also loaded against us.

As for the rest and the lump upfront, an absolute shit show yet again. If I saw some effort and energy maybe I could accept the result, sadly I'm not sure any of our players have the backbone and desire anymore.
Dreading the trip to Anfield next week but you never know, maybe an Anelka moment beckons ?
