Pep Guardiola - 2025/26

Something is clearly going wrong in the second half of matches. I’m not sure if it’s the team talk or that we don’t react to other teams change of shape, regardless of what it is, it’s not fucking good enough and the buck stops with Pep.

I wonder if he kicks off in the changing room and many of this group can’t handle it like the likes of KDB, Gundo etc could and use it to fuel themselves

Pep could finish 8th this year and I wouldn’t call for his head
He can leave when he wants

All I know is when he leaves we become the next Chelsea. Maresca or someone inferior comes in for a year then we chop and change managers every season and won’t get near winning a title for a while.

Spoilt self entitled fans need to think carefully
What if he finishes 8th next year as well? Genuine question.

Football cycles always come to an end none of us imagined for one minute thought Pep would still be here 10 down the line, maybe his time here is coming to an end who knows and who comes in to hopefully take us on another fantastic journey that Pep has taken us all on.
Here, Here, We live in hope. Pep looks tired just like Klopp said he was when he packed it in.

Been patient for two years, hoping to see some spark that he can turn things around, a renaissance of sorts.

But he's looking increasingly set in his ways, refusing to change and picking his favourites that keep letting him down. I fear we've seen the best of him, and if we want to keep him, we as fans may have to start lowering our expectations of what he can further bring to the club.

The club needs a manager with fresh ideas.

Peps head is somewhere else. Let’s hope he can motivate himself and the team to win a trophy by end of season and he can leave on a high.

When we are winning he criticises players. When the players are struggling like we were in the 2nd half he loses his passion and folds his arms and says nothing. Then post match he states the team played well.

The team doesnt look like it's being coached. He doesnt react the changes made by the other team. The football is dogshit and nothing ever seems to change. Second halves have been bad for a long time but today was disgraceful.
The coaching thing is stark to me. It's actually unbelievable that a team of his looks so bereft of ideas

Second half was pish for too long and his subs, as ever, are after the tide has turned and we are chasing to arrest the momentum.

First half was fine - only issues were those of the players making, with slipping, poor passing etc. Second half, we just became dogshit, didn't react and had zero energy. More than that, we looked clueless in possession until it was 2 all. If this was a one off, it could be written off but this year (2026) has seen far too many awful second halves, with some terrible losses. Pep needs to arrest this decline - he has a talented enough squad, it's on him now.

Most teams reflect the attitude of their coach. Our lads are no different. Pep's gone stale, so have they.
And it’s also up to the manager to instil and breed the winning mentality we’ve had in the past to see out close games and not break under pressure.

Unfortunately that mentality is evidently now gone, I don’t recall us being this mentally weak since before even Mancini.
