To this day the only “evidence” of wrongdoing by City in the public domain is the handful of emails published in Der Spiegel. That evidence was comprehensively rejected by CAS. So either (a) he has a thorough understanding of that evidence and can advance cogent reasons why CAS was wrong law to reject UEFAs case, or (b) he’s full of shit.

You can test which it is by asking whether he has access to evidence that CAS didn’t (he doesn’t) or why CAS was wrong.

I get the impression that he’s in the “everyone knows” camp but you never know.

An excellent question! He’s the only one out of the group that doesn’t express an allegiance. I suspect he has dipper sympathies, but you can’t get back at him because he doesn’t “support” anyone. The rag and Villa fan in the group are far easier to have a rational discussion with. Even the rag doesn’t really mention it - he’s more interested in the “classic” rival banter.

Not being funny but why would they be skipping around after the hearing if we had done nothing wrong?
It just seems a bit of an odd statement.

The optimist in me believes that likely means a really bad outcome for the PL with potentially seismic consequences for those concerned which are best dealt in the close season. But I agree it’s cold comfort for us City fans having to deal with this shit on a daily basis. The timing of departures of Levy and the Arsenal guy are intriguing. Who knows what the connection is if any, but if the Panel do make adverse comments relating to the involvement of Arsenal and Spurs that really could be seismic.

It’s nearly 6 years since Uefa laid down charges on Valentine’s Day in 2020 to ban the club from the champions league. Think the Der Spiegal articles were published in November 2018, that’s another 8 years on the timeline the club and us as supporters have had to put up with this finger pointing and rubbishing of the clubs achievements.

Bonkers when you also realise that the first allegation on this witch-hunt occurred in 2009 with Mancini’s wages. That’s 17 years ago, in what industry does a governing body go that far back to try and discredit one of its stakeholders?
