Seat Counters 25/26

I wonder how slow they will drag out ticket sales for Wembley.
IMO it should be:
ST holders on the cup scheme - 1st day
Members/ST holders who attended at least 2 league cup games 25/26 (say Brentford and Newcastle home) - 2nd day
ST holders not on the cup scheme - 3rd day morning
All other members - 3rd day afternoon

Just cos you're a ST holder but couldn't be fucked going last night or earlier rounds it doesn't give you a right for a ticket before members who've made the effort in this competition. The same should apply to all other cup schemes as well

Hope everyone who left early last night enjoyed the extra 15 minutes they got at home x

The tie was finished at halftime with a 5-0 aggregate scoreline. Even our usually abysmal second half performances couldn't fuck that up. As night buses and especially trains are only one an hour at most leaving early can mean an hour less waiting around at a bus or train station on a freezing cold night.

the best was when the board went up for 2 minutes and the masses left. can they not wait 2 fucking minutes until the whistle goes?

Actually It does because that is the criteria they sell the cup schemes to the fans. They can't go back on that once its sold as that.

The criteria has always benefitted ST holders who are on the scheme first (rightly so!), then ST holders not on the cup scheme have had the chance to purchase their tickets before members who may have been to a couple of cup games that season though. What I'm suggesting City should do is that members who've attended league cup games this season should have priority over ST holders who haven't.

Broadly agree though I'd priorities citizens members who've purchased league cup matches this season over non cup scheme season card holders. It'll never happen but just think they should be rewarded
Absolutely agree with this

I see several of our season pro seat counters are asking when will Wembley tickets go on sale.
Calm down lads your time will be here soon enough and your Wembley seat counting will soon keep you busy.
Definitely separates the men from the boys Especially with all them greyed out areas for reasons unknown. CTID

100% agree, the amount who didn’t attend in our block (133) last night was a joke, never seen anything like it

One thing that does puzzle me, and also assuming that the published attendance was the correct figure (as just like the Galatasaray game it felt bigger)

If you take away the respective away followings then there were almost 3000 more blues at the Quarter Final than the Semi Final

That can't be just down to price

I agree. It seems like large numbers of season ticket holders aren’t turning up to any cup games. Why should they get priority?

The elite seat counters on here will be lining up in the paddock once the criteria pops on the website and the date is known when they go on sale.

The real fun comes when only Club Wembley blocks are left and these are selling at the rate of 1 seat every 3 hours, and any returns pop up in level 1 and 5 only to then disappear almost as quickly.

How many will the club allocate to hangers on? Will we have the West (better) or the East (worse) side of the stadium? Always great fun.

does the algorithm outweigh the supposed new method of seeing the actual tickets remaining, because based on the last 2 home games, the much praised new method has been 1000's out for whatever reason, i say repsect the algorithm

Do you know what I'd do for this one, given the recent apparent downturn in ticket demand?

When sales open for Cup Scheme holders I'd allow them to buy 2 tickets. It's a reward for being in the scheme, will mean that a lot of people bring their kids/friends/occcasional fans. Total guess, 20K on the scheme, 12K buy tickets and haff take the extra one. There would still be plenty left for the other categories.

Totally agree what we don't need are slow and draconian criteria from the off. There is a ticket for this game for anyone who wants them and they need to be made accessible quickly so people make their plans.
This is an absolute must, need to allow groups of lads to buy tickets together early on.

Unfortunatly, I can see us being 2 weeks from the fixture and they won't have even got it on sale to matchday members, with us still having 20,000 to sell.

I personally don’t think this will sell quickly and will go to pretty much anyone who wants one

I don’t think it really matters what they do. No one who wants to go will miss out. 32000 is a big allocation for a final.

how many did Brentford bring, looked about 2000? so that would make it the same about 36000 for both games

It’s all well and good giving the tickets away to kids but the motive stinks of better get the ground looking full
I’m more interested when little Johnny or Jenny or possibly jennyjohn gets home and wants Mummy or Daddy to get a ticket for the next game or even a season ticket for next year in that shiny new stand ffs not a Fukin chance of getting that one over the line Daddy
This was exactly the point I was making the other day ,city is a birthday and Xmas treat destination now .

I was thinking the same thing albeit on both occasions I've felt that the attendance seemed a few thousand higher than the actual published figure.
