Seat Counters 25/26

I wonder how slow they will drag out ticket sales for Wembley.
IMO it should be:
ST holders on the cup scheme - 1st day
Members/ST holders who attended at least 2 league cup games 25/26 (say Brentford and Newcastle home) - 2nd day
ST holders not on the cup scheme - 3rd day morning
All other members - 3rd day afternoon

Just cos you're a ST holder but couldn't be fucked going last night or earlier rounds it doesn't give you a right for a ticket before members who've made the effort in this competition. The same should apply to all other cup schemes as well
Said the same to my mate last night.
We're both ST holders in the scheme but I agree members who went to LC games should get priority over ST holders who didn't go, many of whom will want and expect a ticket for the final.
A mate of mine is a ST holder who wasn't in the FA Cup scheme last season, he ended up paying 3 times as much as me for his cup final ticket which worked out more than I paid for my final ticket and tickets for the home ties and semi final put together.

I'm straight away going to guess that we'll be at the West side of the stadium, given that's where we were last time we played arsenal at Wembley in the 2023 community shield.
Was east when we played Arsenal in 2014 Charity Shield and west i think when we played em in League cup final, no idea how they work it out to be honest, consultation with Brent council, old bill and football league i would imagine

Moan, moan, moan. You seem fixated on your fellow fans.

It's a forum and I'm responding to points that have been made.

Might as well shut the whole forum down if fans can't give opinion.

Someone suggested 45k were sold, I don't believe that, how is that moaning.

I've just checked, and the 2018 league cup final was East so now I'm baffled.

We had the West against them in the FA Cup semi in 2017, and the East side in 2018 in the League Cup final. The West side is better for pubs/transport links, outdoor boozing - basically the essentials

Hope everyone who left early last night enjoyed the extra 15 minutes they got at home x
i did i left on 70 as i was fucking freezing - rang my mum on the way home and was in the bath listening to a nice album by the time the final whistle went and nice and relaxed.

Really kind of you to ask.

And if we were drawn away every round?

This is an absolute must, need to allow groups of lads to buy tickets together early on.

Unfortunatly, I can see us being 2 weeks from the fixture and they won't have even got it on sale to matchday members, with us still having 20,000 to sell.
Yep. They'll fuck it up yet again and have 2 weeks going down the criteria slowly so the non season ticket holders and people's friends and family don't know whether or when they'll qualify so decide not to go. Then they'll put them on sale to members with a week to go when it's too late and Arsenal have sold out so they have to have several previous games.

If I knew I could get tickets I reckon I have 7 or 8 friends and family who aren't Citizens (have moved away, one in the army etc) who would commit now to a trip. They'll stagger the tickets to that all of them don't end up coming. Bet you.

If every season ticket holder could buy two that would sort it out instantly.

I said that earlier. I totally agree. There were hardly any season ticket holders around me last night or in the last round. Commercially it also encourages people to join the schemes in the future.

it's a no brainer, it will still get to everyone who wants one while kick starting sales early. The schemes offer very little reward other than a token fiver, this would make far more sense and allow people to make plans early, we will end up with 36000 tickets so lets get on with selling the bloody things

Anyone who wants a ticket for the final, will get one.
Completely agree those that have been to earlier rounds should be given opportunity to get a ticket but season ticket holders, not on the cup scheme, and OSC’s, whom will get as many tickets as they request, as per previous years, will take up the slack for all remaining tickets.
Just my opinion, but I think there’ll be loads of regulars and long standing blues wanting to go to this one because of who we’re playing.
Potential to be a cracking atmosphere.

Sorry if it upsets people but the recent parking restrictions that have been introduced have stopped this 70 year old from walking over 20 minutes after a night game to a decent parking spot, has made me give up night games this season
I’m the same. 68 years old but have to drive as my wife is at home with stage 4 cancer. My only outlet is City games when I can get a family member to sit with her but the parking situation is ridiculous. I couldn’t even get parked anywhere for the Leeds home game and gave up and drove home. Trying to pre book parking is almost impossible with sites saying sold out whenever I try!
