General Videogame Thread

Never played any of these but I like Souls games. These are supposed to be Souls on steroids difficult ain't they? Tempted to have a bash.

Yeah like all new type souls games it take hours of player for you to get up to speed with the game. 1st one was very good 2nd one was much better so hoping this 3rd one will be good! They have said they’ve changed some dynamics of the games and those on YouTube who been allowed to play it says it brilliant

Anyone played Indiana Jones and the Great Circle? Is it any good? Also any second world war games suggestions? I am a sucker for those. I only play single player missions and I have played all call of duty, sniper elite and battlefield games.
Bought it last year & not finished it. It's good fun when playing but need to get into it - a lot of puzzles, not much action. It's quite good to play something a little bit more cerebral

Anyone who plays Arc raiders have a search for BurntPeanut on you tube, he’s a breath of fresh air in the streaming world, piss funny too watch and pretty good at the game

I'm still playing arc raiders but I'm at a point where I got nothing left to do.
My stash is always full,so forever selling gear after every raid.
The new expedition is end of February so definitely going to do that, didn't do the last one.
I've got a couple of blueprints left to find (deadline, level 3 augment) then I'm done.
Oh BTW I've got spare blueprints for the wolf pack, equaliser,Jupiter, aphelion, bettina,if you need them,

I've seen that BurntPeanut guy,is it me or do these streamers only play one map (Stella montis)

Mate I’ve about 3 blueprints I ain’t lucky at all, I’m finding it hard to level as well seems to take ages I’m level 22 now only. Peanut plays all the maos as far as I can see but Montis is the more difficult one so maybe the loot (goop) is better I don’t know, still playing solo so only been killed by players a few times.

Justified picking up Oblivion as an early birthday treat. Really it's as good as a new game for me considering I only played a few hours of it 10+ years ago. It's certainly fun and quest-wise holds your hand less than Skyrim but I'm struggling a bit with the combat settings. I suppose I can adjust them to suit, currently with journeyman setting for outgoing and incoming damage. Get killed a lot if I do things alone but a lot of things become too easy if I summon a skeleton helper.

I've bought precisely 3 games this decade, elden ring, gow ragnorak and nioh 2. I still play as good as daily I just subscribe to ps+premium and have dozens and dozens of games in the back catalogue to get through so dont need to buy anything.

Been real easy not buying anything tbh. Having plenty of games to play i rarely feel the urge to even consider thinking about a nre release but Nioh 3 is testing my commitment to not buying anything. Imo they're the best souls likes out there and the third entry is being mentioned as the best yet.

Watched videos of it and I'm also very close to getting even tho I've a ton of shit already bought and not played.

Nioh 3 is so good but I’m at the usual point at the beginning of Nioh games where the first boss will probably take me hours to do he is so so hard but got get used to all his moves and my moves to beat him!

I had wo-long: fallen dynasty already downloaded on my system which is very much a similar thing by the same devs so I've dived into that to fight off the desire to spend money I dont need to on nioh 3.

Star wars outlaws.
Loving it at the moment.
Apparently when it first came out it got slated for having too much stealth game play and the ai was brutal, but a new patch has ironed out the creases and you don't have to sneek around as much, you can blast your way out now!

Played It Takes Two over the weekend with my son. Talk about a traumatic experience (if you know, you know). Needed that Liverpool win just to lift our spirits.

Haha, quality game. If or when you finish it together, move onto Split Fiction, if you haven't played it already. It's It Takes Two on steroids.

Just bought it and really struggling with it. Feels like I get killed so easily. Does anyone have any tips for new players?
I used freeload for ages for the missions in the Dam for a while, try and search everything it gives xp even if it’s already open. Just sell everything to pay for extra space in your bank. You can convert the free augment into a green one with one of the vendors. Don’t piss of the robots ;)
