Oldham away was the wettest ive ever been during or after a football matchThat's one of the wettest I've been after a match. My particular highlight whilst trudging back to Piccadilly, was stepping on an uneven paving flag thus soaking my feet in cold, shitty water. Result made up for it though.
Hang on ! It's the clubs fault that the atmosphere is shit !!Last night was an absolute fucking disgrace from many of our fans. 2nd in the League, title challenge ramping up, CL qualified, league cup final, still in FA Cup.
Yet fans everywhere around us moaning about the quality of football, even in the first half! Then 74 mins, the first ones get up and leave, then a constant flow up to just before 80 mins when thousand upon thousands start going. All the excuses as they're going, it's raining, it's cold, this football is shit, the buses/metro/trains/traffic are crap (things we should all expect watching football in a city!).
I'll await those giving excuses, or those saying it's a free world, but this club has an issue with it's fans, and it can't all be blamed on the club, ticket strategy, or in the pitch excitement.
Many of the long standing SC card holders really need to have a think at the end of this season whether they are turning up out of habit or want to be there. They're the ones who blame everyone else but they're the ones hugely guilty of creating a totally flat atmosphere.
Never thought I'd see the day where our fans thought that that where we stand this season isn't good enough or worthy of watching and supporting. What did we become
And another soaking at Swindon in the 90s. We were in the open end and the cuntish stewards wouldn't allow brollies in the ground.Oldham away was the wettest ive ever been during or after a football match
Salford update:
Level 3 (East Stand only) - 1255
Level 2 - 0
Level 1 - 93
Tickets are still shifting so if that carries on throughout the day I'd expect CB3 to come back online at some point today
If it's the same one ....it was actually warm that day so didn't mind the rain.....Oldham away was the wettest ive ever been during or after a football match
Good to see some actual seat counting going on.Salford update:

My memory is the sun came out and almost dried us off before we got home.If it's the same one ....it was actually warm that day so didn't mind the rain.....
Make that 5 weeksThere's still 6 weeks until the Final so plenty of time for the Ticket Office to fart around doing nothing (whilst not communicating any reasons for the delay) before launching into a convoluted ticket-buying process that guarantees supporters not being able to sit with their friends and family
I spent years going in the Kop paddock because the Anfield Road end was deadly. I saw two people stabbed outside that end in 1981. It was safer in the home end if you didn’t take the piss. The right hand site of the Kop was where the Scouse FOCs went. Lots of Blues went in there as well as the Stretford Paddock at the swamp.I've been thrown out of Anfield (under a hail of pies) for celebrating in their end. George Weah equaliser, 2002. I've sat in their end another time too where we lost 3-0 and the blokes around me were chatting in the full knowledge I was a Blue.
Still a great crowd for the FA Cup though. Salford won’t sell out their bit without the Rag hangers-on.
It seems to me, although I haven’t really been studying the issue too much, that the ticket exchange system just needs enhancing. There should be two options …There’s also people starting to ask for tickets on the FV pages mate.
On a wider point, one thing I’ve noticed on social media in recent days is Blues who let their tickets go cheap for games they can’t make are saying they will just leave their seats empty in future.
It’s a combination of disproportionate effort to transfer the tickets and the sellers sense that buyers who could pay more are waiting for Prem game tickets to be reduced to £20. Maybe the Club will be happy to see that if it further established the official Ticket Exchange??
Whatever the rights or wrongs, it’s a recipe for more empty seats in the short to medium term.
You'd have thought Salford would hoover-up a lot of Trafford Tramps fans for Saturday's cup tie ?Still a great crowd for the FA Cup though. Salford won’t sell out their bit without the Rag hangers-on.
Yes - Decent crowd to watch our B Team.Still a great crowd for the FA Cup though. Salford won’t sell out their bit without the Rag hangers-on.
