If the charges are bad enough for Pep to leave then they'll be bad enough for our manager short list to be ripped up.

Interesting argument, but my guess its not accurate. Enzo for example could not bother too much to start one league lower or with any deficit. Hes gonna work at the great club with plenty of resources and sooner or later with a clean slate. His remuneration would be in a plus column too. He would instantly still have a real shot on other competitions etc. With a City wealth, ambitions, we should not have much trouble with hitting our targets.

you just cant know this mate. Nobody could bar parties, panel membeers, some staff, few people here and there. The evidence in the case is classified. Without it, me, you, everybody are not in a position to responsibly and fully assess the validity of the allegations.

Im not, entirely the opposite, i absolutely adore Pep in all aspects. But when people wonder why there is such a movement by the club for a shortlist to replace Pep, because he might choose to go (and if this movement is true in the first place, i do not know), then I find it awkward that we we do not connect some dots here.

Its very probable for me that this movement is connected to the imminent verdict. But maybe there is more to it, our club officials are mostly very smart and intelligent. Maybe its a little message to the PL officials. In worse case scenario I understand there is a punishment stage, where parties would have a last say on potential punishment/agreement. Maybe Club put out there, that its in a mutual interest to agree on a punishment that would not take Pep out of the league. Pep is monumental figure upon industry. To get him out of league because of misunderstandings in the past is in nobody business. So we try to scare PL that Peps gonna walk if you want us relegated or hit with massive points deduction.

Pep would stay guaranteed if we lost the 115 case! The fact things are being discussed means another signal that we haven’t. Still think he does the last year though and depending on how we finish this season and the summer business maybe signs a rolling 12 month contract
 
If Pep is still enjoying himself at the end of the season I think he'll stay. Naturally, City will be doing some succession planning though. The media want Pep to leave because a change like that creates uncertainty and we could struggle if we don't get the right person in.

If Enzo is taking the job with us in the Championship that probably says more about him as a manager than anything else tbh. But yeah maybe!

I know I keep saying this on the charges thread. Ever since Pep's first post charges press conference, i've felt a big big reason Pep is staying, is a mix of spite and loyalty as a result of the charges. I feel he has commited himself to going nowhere till the charges are done with, and will keep extending as long as they hang over the club. I think he may have gone after the treble or 4 in a row, but that being unresolved, he's not moving. Just my own feeling, deep in my bones.
