Will we win the league this season? No

A quick glance and in laymans terms based on watching footy for nearly 50 years,

They have more tougher matchweek fixtures than us, a lot more actually.

(Imo, their game is harder than ours on a matchweek)
Not sure about that. Other than us they have decent fixtures and 6 of the 10 are at the Emirates. We still have Leeds, Chelsea, Bournemouth & Everton away with Villa at home I'd prefer their fixtures for sure look at those final 4 games, easy 12pts.

3 London derbies for them though, each team would love to derail them.

The next few for them are harder I believe.

Arsenal have 6 of their 10 remaining games at home. City have 5 of their 11 remaining games at home, albeit one is against Arsenal.

That game at the Etihad is the big one.

Unlike many fans and social media Pep wouldn't have been looking at a London derby with Spurs as the opposition as the day the tide turned and we gained a significant advantage. The Arsenal fans, team and manager will have though. And that might just be the difference that actually gives us an edge.
After today, Arse fans + media will think they've extended their lead by 3 points. In reality they've extended fook all until City play the corresponding game in hand.

Arse fans + media will think winning the derby is a statement win. In reality they've just played two relegation contenders and dropped 2 points.

Time and again this season, Arse have bought into their own hype and then fooked things up.

I don't even think this comes down to the Etihad game. After what happened at Wolves, there's literally no game left in the Arse fixture list that you can't see them potentially dropping points.

No but it's 1 game left to drop points in so there is an advantage in that regard. It also means future dropped points by either side have more impact as there are fewer games to claw them back.

TBH I don't think anyone can confidently say neither Arsenal not City will drop points in the remaining matches and I suspect both will (outside of the game at the Etihad where at least 1 team has to drop points).

I still think no but even where we are is an overachievement. I hope people remember that if we do finish second.

If we win it, then that would be an unbelievable season really.

The point is you lot will have seen winning a derby, at this stage, as a milestone on Par with City beating Liverpool at Anfield.

Anfield aside we’ve been dreadful nearly every second half of every game . We won’t last the distant . We are flagging , last night they battered us second half
I agree with you mate, we wont win it because we havn't been good enough and don't have enough leaders in the squad!

We only have Bernardo and Haarland who I would class as senior players. (excluding Rhodri, he needs to get his confidence back, and was rushed back for that daft fucking world club cup)

For me Foden, Dias and Stones have not got the appetite or fight anymore.

Foden and Dias were un dropable when we won the treble, and they were scared to death of getting bollocked of KDB, Walker, Rhodri etc. John Stones is also no where to be seen now, Fabian Delph and Kompany used to give team talks when they were injured!

Not one City fan would choose to keep Foden or Dias, over O'riley or Kushanov!

Dias will be sold after being taken off against Newcastle at HT. He cant lead a defense. Gvaridol, Ghuei and Kushanov will play as a back 3 next season.

As opposed to arsenal who are filled to the brim with senior experienced players that have won multiple trophies in the game…

Means nothing. You blew a 2-0 lead against Wolves. Unless you are playing spurs there are no guaranteed 3 points left for you in any of those fixtures because you have proven you can’t handle the pressure of a title race.

No such thing as decent fixtures in a title run in mate. It’s all about timing and who can hold their nerve and the pressure best

Foden didn’t start any of CL KO games or final, the Arsenal PL home game nor the FA Cup semi or final when we won the treble. He played when any of our first choice attacking midfield (De Bruyne and Gündoğan) or our wingers (Grealish and BSilva) needed rotation.

Arsenal win it by 5-7 pts im afraid , we’ve been average at best .

2 pts out of 12 from Brighton and spurs tells me all I need to know

What’s both teams league record in the last 6 games? Now imagine there is 6 games left and there is only 2/4 points in it who’s more likely to look nervous? Oh don’t take that Arsenal win at spurs as a big pressure win! History says they usual beat them and spurs had 13 injures!

Think the Leeds game away will tell you a lot but we only pick a draw up it still won’t be over they’ll be still 10 games left!

It’s to early to call..
