North Stand Construction Discussion

City have said they will release more than 4,000 new Flexi Season Tickets stadium-wide ahead of the 2026/27 season, and that 50% of the new Flexi Season Tickets will be ringfenced for Junior Cityzens, however I don't think they have formally made it clear how the application process will work.

Apologies too for derailing the construction related topic!
I think they said they'll start off with the 2 seasons minimum number of games attendance rules but I'd suspect it'll work it's way down to being open sale?

What a tremendous waste of space those trees are going to be under the canopy in City Square.

It should be a functional area. Yes make it look decent to look at but it's just a complete waste of space when you think what City Square could be before a game.
They'll be full of cig dimps soon enough just like the south stand bogs.

Can't bring myself to get excited about it until my anxiety is eased for my little one to get a ST. Aiming to get in there, moving from SS, but admittedly not too picky as long as he gets one.

You should be fine given that there’s a significant number of tickets red circled for kids. Good luck.

Thanks mate, I'm more scared shitless of missing information/deadlines. Not entirely sure where things will be announced, or when...

On here or at https://www.mancity.com/ticketing-and-hospitality/north-stand most probably the best options.

Edit: Just found the eligibility criteria someone (you?) asked about although they may reduce them depending on demand.

Thanks mate, will keep those pages open.

A few screen grabs from SS Skies latest drone video showing the tarmac around the North stand and the East stand.

As you can see, there has been a lot of underground utilities work, and the darker and newer tarmac resurfacing is clearly visible in those areas.

To resurface the whole perimeter of the Etihad would be a huge undertaking, and the cost would be astronomical. Probably something City would never consider doing.

Why is it so expensive? Also what is the green stuff on the floor if you turned left out of JMW? That’s nearly as bad as JMW itself.
