Denton and Gorton by-election - Green Party wins

They aren't advocating Muslims above all others, although by being against them being killed in huge numbers in a genocide seems to make them bad guys in some people's eyes, yours seemingly included.

It used to be normal to not want wars and killing.
Do you think the Labour Party wants the war in Gaza?

Nobody trying to get into government does ffs.

The point is The Greens used Gaza as a way to get Muslims to vote for them over Labour. It was a shameful tactic and divisive and at odds with “hope not hate”, an organisation that has a lot of hate ironically.

If they did, I didn't see that. Because you're clearly picking things up from right-wing publications or media that is trying to make people fear the worst from the Greens, I doubt it happened the way you suggest either.

They don't want a genocide, they don't want Muslims treated like second-class citizens, they don't want people scared of their neighbours. That's about it. They want people to get on.

Reform want to force people out, and believe me, if they manage that, they move onto the next group. Sowing hate is all they have. Fuck the country as long as they each become a bit richer.

Anyway, I am getting tired of this, it's brilliant that Hannah managed to bring about enough goodwill to win, she's enthusiastic and will do her best for people. That should be what all MPs do. Some barely even know where their constituency is.

Reform moaning about voter fraud from Muslim voters must be predicated on the ridiculous notion that a single one of them would have voted for the cunts in the first place.

Agreed. The numbers of Muslims voting reform will be negligible.

Could this type of suspected voter fraud increase turnout for a certain party though? I’m imagining the patriarch of a clan hoovering up postal votes and submitting a block of votes for his preferred candidate.

Biraderis membership can number in the thousands in some areas.

Blimey, you still here? You've done a helluva shift today.

Aside from your... ...uncharitable interpretation there's another one.

Green Party members and Muslims are both, generally speaking, incensed about the attitude and policy of uk govt towards Gaza.

As are many other people.

It's not like the Green position changed in recent weeks.

Have a great weekend, and spend some time elsewhere.

Stop talking utter nonsense.

Imagine accusing me of getting all my information from right wing media, and then not seeing Labour openly criticising the same tactic, how far left is your online echo chamber to miss all that? Every party has criticised it.

As I’ve said, the Labour Party don’t want the war in Gaza to continue, I don’t know a single person who does.

This is what the former Deputy Leader of the party, and a Muslim, said today:

Shahrar Ali, the party’s former deputy leader, says this approach makes it harder to enjoy the victory.

“I’m conflicted about the result,” he says. “On the one hand I’m in awe of the scale of the victory. On the other hand, I’ve been very despondent about the manner in which they campaigned, in particular their appeal to the Muslim bloc. The Green Party is hoovering up the pro-immigration position, but that is a fundamentally irresponsible political stance.

“You can’t have someone turn up and be looked after by the state while you have somebody next door – the kind of person who Hannah Spencer claims to want to support – unable to pay the bills or get a mortgage. That inconsistency is unfair in the broader sense. I think the Green Party are selling out all semblance of political policy and principle for a lowest common denominator approach, which is just to say: ‘We’ll grab all your votes from any direction we can get them.’

I’m glad you’re concerned for me, you don’t need to worry though.

What attitude and policy? What do they want the UK government to do, bomb Tel Aviv?

It’s upset you this by-election hasn’t it?
Not really, the Greens were odds on and it was a left wing seat even when Labour were getting hammered.

I wouldn’t get carried away if I were you. It’ll mean little in the upcoming General Election.

This is what the former Deputy Leader of the party, and a Muslim, said today:
Half the bloody cabinet have had donations from friends of Israel, the govt have been helping Israel with military assistance and the govt have arrested thousands of people for openly taking to the street to denounce genocide against Palestinians.
Labour got a kicking and they deserved it. Their stance has been cowardly and immoral. The Green Party had every right to call out Labour over Gaza.

Personally I wouldn’t know who any of my family actually vote for any more than they know for certain who I vote for. It’s a secret ballot and I like to keep it private. They can guess from things I say/do the same as I can with them but I’m in the polling booth alone and put my cross where I want to!! :-)

The UK is going down the toilet and you’re all arguing that going down the toilet on my turd is better than going the toilet on your turd.
Enjoy the flush.

I don't believe people travel thousands of miles for under £9 a week.

The self servatives "immigration policy" was to have anyone who arrived here held in repurposed "hotel's" - holding center's owned by Tory members and or donor's whilst culling the number of staff available and trained to process the asylum hearings.

They brought in millions of legal immigrants in the Boriswave. The boat number in hotels are small fry in comparison to that.
