The Squad planning thread

I don't known if you've heard but the guy I know in work who's a Forest fan told me today 50 mil relegation clause for Anderson and 35 mil relegation clause for Gibbs White got info when he went this weekend to watch them against brighton.

Also Gibbs White has a gentleman's agreement to be able to leave for 60 mil if a champions league club comes in for him. If they don't get relegated

But also that he has heard that Marinakas and Viana have a budding relationship and the Ortega deal has made our relationship between clubs strong. Out of the top 6 Marinakas would rather do buisness with us because of Hugo Viana and how smooth negotiations were.
Well if true 85m for the pair is an absolute steal. Not sure where they both fit though tbh.

Morning and Yeah I thought Gibbs White one was low, its to do with his wages he's their highest paid player, something about they can't fit that into a championship wage structure so they'd need a sale. Apparently they are in major trouble if they go down and there will be a big flash sale on their top players, their project didn't count for relegation they thought they'd be challenging for Europe.

Anderson sounds done for us either way now, just where they finish is what the price would be.

Given that it's unlikely Villa will make a Champions League spot how going for Morgan Rogers.

Barca want Foden in the same sense as I want Sydney Sweeney for a night. Dreamland.

No chance they can afford him. They can’t even afford Rashford and Foden would cost more. Younger, better, more suited to their style and a firm favourite at the club.

Foden will never publicly push for a move either to lower the price.

No chance we are selling Phil.
He's not playing at the moment and see's others with less ability ahead of him.
I know he's a hometown boy but he may have to move to further his career
Not sure why he is playing so poorly compared to the Phil Foden that was top quality only 18 months ago.

Tolmie saying its difficult situation as in the summer Phil only has one year left on his deal takes power away from City. If he wants to he can talk to Barca in January next season about a free transfer.

Paints a big picture on a need to overhaul the midfield.

Anderson is a must in the summer for me and will be a sure starter. If we cant attain him we should go for someone like Sandro Tonali who will set his sights higher than Newcastle.

Dare I say get Palmer back? Even if it means Pep goes. This isn’t a Pep out comment but we are clearly getting to an end point. Without Cherki we don’t have any creative threat.

Would not be against that, only thing with Palmer is that he seems very stop-start with this ongoing injury. I think id go back in for Gibbs-White

I'd stay away from Palmer he was advised to get surgery in the summer but Chelsea told him to just rest and now he's been stop start with injuries. He's been struggling with Pubalgia all season.
