Maybe a stupid question but will the sails affect the window cleaning ? Or do we think it will be the magical “self cleaning” glass ( which for uninformed does exist )

There appear to be 16 seats to each bedroom / box under the skybar , it will deffo be “intimate” in there !! ;-)

They'll still need to clean it periodically. Nothing on the roof (yet) to suggest tracks for a BMU, or whether it would be a cradle etc. Abseiling would probably be the least practical with the sails, more the shape than the presence. They could do mewps too, apart from obviously the medlock square facades, as it'll be roofed.

As a side (sorry, but I do genuinely say this in good faith), notice the elevations of the office building that were largely covered by scaffolding have zero efflorescence. May appear yet if it got wet, but if they had gone for a covering it fully, bet it wouldn't at all.

I didn't go to the match to do a picture roundup as well, but the floor to ceiling glazing inside the fan zone caught my eye. It looks really good. Not sure if you can make it out properly in the pictures?

Most of the sails have been installed on the inside of the two claws. They also look good.
