Rationalise it this way…it has to be different shade so you can tell the new bits that’ve been added !

It's all the sunshine bleaching the colour of the older seats or, the rain washing the colour away.

Probably the latter.

I know they can't do anything about the differing shades of blue but it's going to bother me...

I think the difference between the colour of the first few rows of new seats, and the existing, is exaggerated by the dark blue netting placed over them.

There’ll inevitably be a contrast I suppose, but I think the netting is making it look worse than it is.

The upper tiers would always be less prone to sun bleaching. Personally as long as there are genuine City fans’ bums on them I care not what shades of blue they may be, as long as they are not brown or red.

Probably cheaper to replace the seat. But if a United fan is sitting on a pink one, go for it.

I’m hyperventilating right now at the clash in seat colour between the new and old faded seats. Takes away from the ‘single tier’ look.

Surely they'll put new in after the season, be done in a week, they fly thorugh them once they start.

I cannot find any formal capacity for the ground after the expansion, is it 60K, 61K, 62K maximum including all the VIP and corporate areas

61,958 is the official capacity as approved. Not taking into accounts people in the bedrooms that look onto the pitch, so 62k for ease is what I've been going with.

Obviously doesn’t matter to some but it is also nice to have a premium looking stadium where everything’s spick and span.

Madrid just replaced all their seats and it looks immense now compared to their old main stand look.

Nothing serious by the way, so no one needs to cry (not yourself) about someone raising it. It’s just that extra polish for those who like attention to detail.
