Last Film You Saw

Has anybody watched Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man? What are your thoughts if so?

7/10 from me, it'll be interesting to see if Duke (Tommy's son) carries on into the next decade or so, as Barry Keoghan is excellent in this.
Finally got round to it last night. Really disappointed. Would probably say 6.5/10.

Peaky Blinders is one of the best series out there so it was always going to be difficult to maintain that level...But I just found it all a bit boring and predictable.

The series has been full of incredible actors and actresses (Murphy, Anderson, Hardy, Brody, Mcrory, etc) but the star names in this couldn't save the film. Keoghan was OK I thought and would be great if Peaky continues with the same level of storytelling as previous series.

Same with Hail Mary. Started to watch it, but I thought I'd wait till it came out on 4k.
I normally wait for the 4K Remux (disc) which isn't out until May 19. I plan on getting a new TV later in the year so I think I'll save a rewatch at home for then but nothing beats seeing it on a premium screen in 3D at the cinema.

Tornado.

Hmm, I'm not sure about this Scottish 1790 tale.
Tim Roth is Tim Roth, it's basically a simple revenge flick.

6/10

Jesus Christ Superstar (1973). First saw this over 50 years ago when my uncle took me and my sister to see it, and it never disappoints me every time I watch it. The standout performance for me is the late Carl Anderson as Judas

Calling Bigga.

Not getting sucked into it...

@hilts is talking shit! There's LOADS of scope and morality clauses to examine the superhero phenomena; what it means to be a 'hero', where the line is, what stops you crossing the line, are you mentally ill, what makes you cling to sanity within all the death and destruction, the weight of being the right example.

Loads...

;)

Vertical Limit - involves climbing K2 and the recovering of injured climbers from a crevasse. Thought it was awful tbh. Poorly written and unbelievable characters. Wouldn't recommend. 4/10 for some stunning scenery.

The Wall - A concealed Iraqi sniper and a US sniper plus his spotter battle it out in the desert with just a ramshackle wall providing cover. The action builds slowly but there's a long radio conversation between the Iraqi and an injured American. A few plot twists follow. I think the conversation with the Iraqi was really a proxy for the USA reflecting on the war, its aims and what they did after their initial military victory. Reasonably enjoyable and worth a watch. 6.5/10

Downhill - Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell. Supposedly a dark comedy about a failing marriage but wasn’t funny or dark; it was just shite!
Avoid.

Peaky Blinders - The Movie - Never got into the series so saved myself a few weeks binging on TV as the GF filled the gaps in. Film was okay (felt like I didn't really need to watch the series) 6/10

The Life List - Chick flick stuff but okay 6/10

Banana Man answered most of those for me in fairness.
