Getting old

Great hair and not looking too old keeps me going and not miserable. I walk about 20k a week. I hardly drink now, not a big life decision, I just can't be arsed. I still work and am relatively fit. I keep my mind active and can still catch things that fall out of our overpacket high food cupboards. I swear there is stuff way at the back, that I paid for with thruppeny bits.

Have pals who make you laugh and you them. I eat well and I have always drank a lot of water and my favourite treat since a nipper is fruit. I was always young looking for my age and retain a bit of that.

Always remind myself, yesterday is gone, Kaput, tomorrow not guaranteed, so enjoy the present. It's all we have.

Oh, and don't be a ****. Kindness costs nothing..
Being a **** is how I start the day and continue for the rest of the day…….

"Cherish" Cherish the moment: 1985

Romantic ballad about appreciating love and life while recognizing it's temporary nature before time runs out. Our new Senston bat and ball sets just arrived from the Bezo Crew, so signing off for now for a nice afternoon of ping pong. Will you be cherishing todays moments .. .

For those feeling a lot of aches and pains, especially in the mornings; take up intermittent fasting, it does wonders for inflammation which is what most of the aches and pains are.

Drink loads of water n’all.

Turned 64 couple weeks ago. Try to stay active and reasonably fit. Do parkrun most Saturdays and couple runs during week (did 6 miles on Monday morning and 3 before work this morning)

Some days I feel it some I don't.

Got enlarged prostate, high cholesterol, high BP, rhinitis and diverticulitis

Changed my diet and cut down on alcohol and probably feel better than have done in years (even with all of the above).

Also try to look after mental health by doing quizzes, odd crossword and reading

My vocab is failing and crosswords are now too difficult.

All of that, plus I still run upstairs and stand up to take my keys off.
