Going to Seville with the missus on Thursday any suggestions?
A chance to wheel out my Seville video again :)

Seriously though, Seville is the best city in Europe. Top of your list should be:-
  • The Real Alcazar - beautiful Moorish palace and gardens
  • Seville Cathedral and la Giralda - cavernous building with an amazing bell tower
  • Parque Maris Luisa and The Plaza Espana - gorgeous (I'm running out of superlatives!) piece of architecture set in a lovely green park with lots of interesting little things to see
  • The Metropol Parasol (also known as Las Setas) - the world's largest wooden structure which you can walk about.
There are also quite a few interesting minor sites but any of the above four would be top of the list in any other city in Europe - and there are all within a mile of so of each other in Seville!

Thanks mate, I’ll give that a watch

Hotel Rui yucatan .
We have ever stayed there but did stay at the Iberostar next door a few years ago.
Beautiful beach and you can't go wrong with Rui.
You are in walking distance of Playa Del Carmen or a short taxi ride.
We were on the other side of Playa Del Carmen this year and it was a longer walk so didn't bother.
There are a few excursions that you can do. I personally loved the catamaran down the coast to Tulum.
The sargassum (seaweed) is there now but your hotel should do a good job of cleaning the beach every morning so won't be an issue.
Enjoy.

Looking forward to it mate . Had my heart set on Thailand but it’s not a bad second .

Advice on Barcelona…

Fancy taking the kids probably next easter, doing camp nou etc but dont fancy staying in Barcelona itself as not a fan of busy citys.
So can anyone suggest a place to stay, outside of barca itself that has a nice smaller town, beach/harbour/village sort of vibe with good train/transport links into Barcelona ?

2 weeks booked for Japan in November

Honestly can't wait always been on the bucket list

Me and the wife tried to do that this year but we looked into it and it was mainly sold out or way over the usual price.
We have booked an Alaskan Cruise for mid July.
We will do Japan next year, Japan is definitely on my bucket list.

This could all be subject to change with the ongoing world political shitshow, we may have to cancel.

We loved it last year. Wife's first time there and she saw why I have been banging on about it all these years. Did the usual Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto/Hiroshima sights. Have just booked for next February to go to Sapporo Snow Ferstival, then down to Okinawa where it will be around 20c.

Where you heading?

try Sitges short train ride into the City

Cape Verde for me. Great reviews and before we booked it for our particular hotel. Since then all I've seen is mass illnesses and people dying from food poisoning. Misses is panicking but hopefully they'll be on top of the food hygeine before the summer.
