Wilder was a totally different version when Fury fought him, he’d beaten the talented Cuban Ortiz who back then would’ve been a hard night’s work for anyone. Stiverne too was a decent durable opponent.
The Ngannou fight was an anomaly, Fury didnt have a serious camp for that
