Will we win the league this season? No

The dippers beat us at their place deep into the 2014 run in to gain a psychological advantage or so it was claimed. Look how that turned out for them.

Next week is a massive game but it’s not must win
It absolutely is a must win.

These cunts are reeling from a couple of quick digs. It’s time to spark the cunts out.

Obviously that would be ideal.

Were we to properly put them to the sword, 3-0 or 4-0 something of that ilk, it’s not hard to envisage them completely imploding, cliques forming in the dressing room, players openly questioning Arteta, their daft fans losing the plot even further, the board panicking and getting rid of Arteta etc etc

Arteta just needs to stick a picture of that bloke and his little "Arsenal tears" bottle on the wall of the Arsenal dressing room

That was my thoughts exactly

Like Pep team and players you keep your powder dry
Anybody who even remotely thinks Arteta would give a scintilla of thought to doing that is mentally ill.

It would be a shame for us to get back into the title race for it to be extinguished within 1 week. We have given Arsenal for too many chances this season with weekly inconsistencies.

It might sound strange but I would be disappointed if we didn’t grab this last chance to take the league. A title win along with the 115 clearance in the summer would be the stuff of dreams. The fun would be off the charts -:)

So yeah, come on city. Take the league from those arse twitching wankers.

There's been a real shift since the Carabao Cup win. I said, for us it was a huge game because many hadn't won things and needed the first one to get the taste of success and get the belief they can go and win titles.

Arsenal still haven't had that moment so the pressure remains relentless, the doubts are still there in their minds.

We now look really confident and driven whilst Arsenal seem to be running out of fuel. Beating them this weekend will be another big blow for them, another huge boost for us.

There's still a long way to go after this weekend, but for me we have to win on Sunday to have any chance.

Arsenals problem is they are more scared of losing than they are excited about winning, their fan base is fucking shocking, always said their fanbase are up there with anyone as the biggest wankers on the internet, the majority of fans dont want arsenal to win because of their fans, as for AFTV what a bunch of fuckwits.

Still find it hard to believe we are going to win the league, however our form has picked up,we look solid and weve got pep,im actually enjoying it

No, Arsenal's problem is that they are always trying to walk it in.

I think the bottling is over done and it's simply their turgid football as you say.

Exactly.

Mentality is important but ultimately it's about the quality of play. Arsenal have served some really average performances in big games this season, but also in normal games, relying too much on defence and set pieces.

One game they failed performance wise was vs Liverpool at home. Looked like a midtable team in the 2nd half, entirely conceding the initiative to Liverpool. Got lucky vs Chelsea too, who created clear chances with 10 vs 11 at the Emirates.

This doesn't mean they'll be crap at the Etihad. Football is unpredictable. But they haven't been better than us domestically.

No
We’ve won every title that’s gone to the wire. This time we won’t

I understand your view. I don't think we won't win it, infact I'm on record in this thread saying I thought we'd do it if we got to the end of April within a certain points range. Of all people we know what it takes to go all the way, but the flip side is that we've seen how wrong it can go for others and it'd be remiss to pretend it couldn't happen to us. Couldn't give a shite about the bloke with the bottle at Chelsea. The overconfidence from some quarters in here almost smells of undercover wumming if I was to be cynical.

Think the cracks are finally starting to show. Listening to pundits analysis (an actual decent one) and they’re saying the stadium was so nervous from minute 1 against Bournemouth. Can you imagine how it’s going to affect them week on week especially if they’re beaten on Sunday? This game is so important, yes the points etc but the feeling they will get that the team chasing them beats them, with the atmosphere and the players celebrations they will be gone.

They mentioned how the players were scared against Bournemouth, too many touches, not running past defenders, passing backwards giving it to someone else. I think their fans are their worst enemy. Too much expectation and now fear because they can all see what’s going to happen. Second again.

They have ridden their luck with set pieces all season. A truly dire team devoid of any creativity. They have nothing to offer in terms of entertainment. They had a reputation for classy football with Wenger which has been trashed by Arteta. Arteta himself will never get another elite job in football. There is no market for what they do as a club.

It's normal to be scared if you have lost the title twice to the team that are chasing you again, that outplayed you at Wembley recently and then smashed Liverpool 4:0.

The 3:0 win at SB has made their fears worse.

But this doesn't mean they are bound to fail. Those on here pretending to know that they will fail are free to make a lot of money from their superior knowledge.

Yes, their football is often hard to watch, but they haven't lost the title yet. If Arteta wins the PL or the CL, he will be regarded as successful. Ultimately, it's about winning a big trophy, especially for Arsenal who haven't won anything big (PL/CL) since 2004.

The pundits are right. Arsenal could beat City and then it’s over. The next match is the critical one.
Gary Neville has been saying it for months. But, I don't see it. We have the momentum, a week's rest, experience of these games, already beaten them convincingly recently and it's a home game. The only thing for them is that they only need a draw while we need a win.
