Just got posted by the admin of a telegram group I'm in. Can't find it on the politco website so might be on their X account or something.

Would be very surprised if it's true, would seem to tally up with theories that Trump wants everyone to rely on American oil including China.

Daily KOS has been down since 11am yesterday as they are moving to a new web platform.
Should be back today but even the frint end Web Application Firewall (WAF) message has gone now - so I'm not at all hopeful they'll be back later today.
A properly managed transition would have changed the WAF first so you could still message your viewers / subscribers.
 
Ukraine is getting 120k drones from the UK this year - developed using Ukrainian partners but manufactured on the UK - that means the UK also gets 120K drones this year from this manufacturing process, that we do with as we please. (Probably a large amount to assist the gulf states in the first instance I would think.)

Hopefully the 1st steps of starting to build up our military manufacturing capacity.

And hopefully we're looking into some THAAD / Patriot style defence systems too. but id guess if we were its not gonna be in any form of public domain yet. would give us a few decent layers of air defence with Drones and Dragonfire being the more localised defences and Sky Sabre for mid range.

Looks like they were right.

Listening to a podcast today, I discovered that the Institute For the Study of War (ISW) only has 10 people working for it - of which only 4 work on the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Astoning really.

It is actually an open source intellegence organisation where sources of intellegence are assessed with each given a provenance with a huge data base going back to 2007 when tge organisation was formed.

Anyone stupid enough to think that if they sign up to the Russian military they will be kept away from the front lines probably shouldn’t be in further education anyway.
