Stupid little things that bug you

Anyone over 7 cycling on a pavement should be dragged off and beaten with pickaxe handles.

Every town should employ a squad to do this.
Steady on, a bit angry here. I would in the main agree with you however there are certain times I do hop onto a pavement with my bike but tend to walk with it. The junction of Etchells Rd dog leg by the Griffin pub, is a nightmare if you’re on a pushbike.

Plussssssss, if you are sensible and considerate it is far safer to cycle on the pavement. Between dodging potholes, hgv's and nobheads, a cyclists is lucky it he/she makes it to their destination.

On another note, do you, Normy, talk to the cashier in a supermarket ?

Just askin'

It's also illegal

Whilst the highway code does say anyone over 10 cannot ride a carriage (bicycles are not specified but are classed as a carriage) on a pavement, the police are specifically reminded to use common sense and discretion on the basis that some cyclists may feel remaining on the carriageway is dangerous to themselves. So as long as the cyclist doesn’t cycle alongside or close to pedestrians and returns to the carriageway as soon as possible there should be no issue.

Incidentally, on shared pavements where one side is for pedestrians and the other is for cyclists, the cyclist must stay on their side but there is no similar restriction for pedestrians. Mad, innit.

Yes I do Misty. I avoid self service like the plague, even though in Handforth Dean’s M&S try like mad for you to use them, I say “thanks, but no thanks, I prefer the human touch”:)
Also, I agree with you wholeheartedly about cycling on the road, many of them are in a dreadful state and if your bike is like mine and doesn’t have shocks on them it doesn’t half rattle your bones.

There’s a few shared pavements in South Manchester. Give or take, most of the time, everything is fine. Perhaps you get the odd time you’ll get cyclists thinking they’re on a speed track. I will also slow down, be it a pedestrian or a cyclist I come across. I don’t want to end up on the floor.

Just been chatting to a guy in a rangers shirt about football outside the pub in Cleveleys..... Proper Glaswegian with accompanying accent told him how much my ST costs and I thought he said is that all ya pay... Fucker actually said is that OAP rate!!!! ****.

This. And cyclists on the pavement mostly food delivery. And they expect you as the pedestrian to make way for them. Absolute bellends.
I wouldn't mind if it was just normal bikes, but those electric bikes with the big fat tyres are potentially lethal.
Same with some mobility scooters, they really shouldn't be on the footpath (or in Morrisons).

People posing in unnatural positions just too ensure they get their tattooed parts in the pic

Oh.....and
Filthy union jack flags on poles. What sort of "patriot" would instigate a mass programme of Flag hanging, (entirely for well meaning patriotic reasons im sure), then not look after the uptake of said wonderful patriotism. Get up there and maintain it you halfwitted, bald, tatooed, patriotic bells. Don't just leave it hanging there limp, sodden and filthy, representing perfectly the pitiful demise of our once sparkling nation. Anti British if you ask me!

Personally I get more annoyed with the patriotic British people fly the Union Flag upside down

I was just watching the BBC News and they did a report about food shortages in the UK coming soon.
Fucking hell, what better way to create panic buying and clear the shelves before there are shortages.
